Bruh there's so many good back and forth points about having either a sooner or later release for Silksong as compared to Hollow Knight and they're basically all good

I don't see why that really matters regardless, tbh. If it takes longer, it takes longer. It seems like it's gonna be a better game

Sooner - TC has a dedicated and talented coder, TC will be reusing many assets and by now has the animating and programming aspect of development streamlined, Also TC has more money in the bank and therefore have to rely less on continual backing funds.

Later - Silksong will definitively be a bigger game undoubtedly taking longer, Silksong has advanced AI for enemies and therefore programming enemies that way could put them back at square one in the streamlining process, and more small effects are being programmed into the world such as the ground depressing when Hornet steps on it, juggling shakram, moving backgrounds - and lastly there is gonna be way more dialogue

I must admit I’m a little worried about the tools system, never been a fan of combat tools that you can’t replenish during the fight. Healing stuff is fine but it feels like it deincensitivizes (however you spell it) using them because you’ll just run out

Unless you can't get an upgraded shard capacity or smth, but that just kinda seems like a no-brainer

Capping that at 500 permanently would suck, especially if tools have varying costs

So it's just a question of whether the shards are used now or the next time you're at a bench, so might as well be now
