The kickstarter and it’s super high backer goals kinda hints towards them caring a lot about money, either that or I have no idea what I’m talking about

2017 - Mid 2018 = Conceptual, all the while making the content packs for HK
Mid 2018 - Feb 2019 = Starting to shift dev to SS, trailer is essentially a "Heres a proof of concept on why its taking long"
Feb 2019 - Now = Game is still being deved

so if we only count the actual years of development starting from mid 2018 its around, 3.2 years of Dev?

that's the thing yeah. personally, I really like how grabs and things of the sort are a very clear moment of: "you did this wrong, and it's important you fix it for next time". when they're balanced well

things like the demon of hatred's charge and sweep where you have to jump over the arm or take tons of damage. Generally moves that are unforgiving but give you a moment to register that what you're doing needs to change i kinda enjoy sparingly

then there's the converse where I LOVE fights like sisters of battle that give you no time to think and you're just flowing from start to finish

Hi, sorry for taking so long to reply, well here goes: I think we might have at least one big news from SS because at the end of this month it will be HK's 3.5 year anniversary and counting Team Cherry's announcement period you can see that they make big announcements but for the last 2 quarters of the year, not to mention that the period from these announcements to the official release comes around 4-6 months.
