Scarab is the modinstaller for current patch which at the moment is 1.5+ and modinstaller 2 is and upgraded version of modinstaller 1 which are both for patch 1.4.3.2

hello! im having an issue with skill upgrades that i cant figure out how to fix. tried searching for it on here and couldnt find anything. i have rando 4 and skill upgrades installed on 1.5 and they both load and everything, and i checked my in-game and file settings for skill upgrades, but they dont actually seem to be working? i have it set to just extra air dash and triple jump but neither seem to work

Yea, scarab doesn't have readmes built in. I think they might generate in your game files? I'm not really sure, but I just check the modlinks scarab uses to find the github pages real quick

you get modinstaller/scarab, depending on which patch you're on, then once you have that setup, download custom knight from the installer. you will find a folder called "mods" in the game files and within there is a folder called custom knight. there you can drag and drop skins you've downloaded elsewhere (there is a google drive full of them in the pins) and that should work.

hey, i've been using scarab to play with hkmp and customknight for a few weeks now and it's always worked fine, but for a few days now it stopped opening. Whenever i try to run scarab.exe, the tab opens and closes immediately after no more than a second. I should mention my pc itself has been having a lot of issues lately and bsod's frequently (currently working on tryna fix that, it looks like it's okay now but i wouldn't put any money on that), but no other app i've tried opening has had the same issue as scarab. I've tried redownloading the entire .zip folder more than once and it hasn't helped, can anyone give me a hand?
