For the gun mod to work properly you have to first create a file THEN install/activate the mod and the next time you will open the save file it will work

My friend and I gave up on doing the Item+Room randomizer MP because VPNs are annoying and we've had bad experiences in the past with them, so we opted to just do parallel runs of the rando with identical settings and seeds. But, we punched in the same seed, same settings, same mod and got different stuff

Just as a quick note, if you have the early geo setting enabled then the starting geo is a random amount from 300 to 600, which depends on the settings. So you can use it as a quick check - if you have different early geo then something got messed up somewhere. (This is what's done for rando races)

(In case you see this) do you mean mods list in the options menu or on the top left corner of the screen? Only mods that had specific implementation to be togglable in game appear there. If you’re trying to use it like the 1.5 ver of CustomKnight, the 1.4 ver has skin swapping in the pause menu in it’s own custom menu to the left where you click on a skin name to switch. Also if you’re trying to use it like 1.5 CustomKnight, don’t put skins in the skins folder, put them directly in the CustomKnight folder

You can. There's a guide on having multiple patches installed on the speedrun website.

Essentially, you just need to have one version installed, then copy all of the files of it to another folder and add another fine for steam, then change your install to the other version in steam

Mod installer 1 and 2 are for 1.4.3.2 (1 and 2 are mostly the same), there's more mods on 1.4 then there are on 1.5, mainly randomizer isn't on 1.5 yet, so you only need to be on 1.4 if you want one of the mods that isn't on 1.5. Scarab is for 1.5

I believe that's called ItemSync, I'm not really well versed in all the randomizer add-ons, but I do know you can find all of that stuff in the Speedrunning Community server. There's an invite to this server linked in the pins of #randomizer/#speedrunning, then check the randomizer channels in there

Reinstall debug and disable it, many changes debug makes change variables in the save file, which means it's not tied to the mod and it has lasting effects. Infinite jump is actually a variable that can be toggled

Not the "cannot move" part, but for the white block

Restart your game and change skins
Change skins in small rooms like stag stations
Be patient when changing skins, don't spam click

That happens when you use the wrong mod installer for your game version, and you probably just deleted the mods folder instead of removing the API, which is what matters. IF you want to go back to vanilla, verify your game integrity via steam ( Steam library > right click HK > properties > local files > verify integrity of game files), if you want to use mods, either download scarab from the pins or check the third pinned message to downpatch
