You only need 2 keys to get any non-waterways unlock though.

Hi! So I have a question. Whenever I fight Zote The Mighty from Bretta’s house and die a couple times, I can’t use shade soul, desolate dive, howling wraiths, etc(I can still hit them with my nail though.) how to hk (with gog on windows):

  1. download gog galaxy
  2. log in
  3. download hk (this will show you in a field where you install it to, it likely has something like "Gog Games" in it)
  4. if you are (still in gog galaxy) on the game page, where information of your progress and stuff is displayed
  5. at the top, to the right side, there should be a small symbol with like 2 lines and 2 circles
  6. those are options, click on that
  7. then idk how it looks, but there should be an option to manage installation
  8. there should be a dropdown with "None" selected, change that to the option that includes "1.4.3.2"

So I'm trying to download ModInstaller, and whenever I use it, the game itself doesn't load up any mods, the title screen music is gone, and when I go into settings then mods, there is nothing there, and pressing "back" doesn't work. I will now list everything that I have done to try and fix this.

  • I have done all four steps on the first pin of this channel (so please don't tell me to look at pins)
  • Verified the integrity of the files of Hollow Knight
  • I've tried to "Revert back to unmodded" but even after I verified it still gives me the "unable to locate vanilla Hollow Knight" message
  • I've uninstalled EVERY mod, through ModInstaller, and going to steamapps>common>Hollow Knight>hollow_knight_Data>Managed>Mods and getting rid of everything
