My best strategy is to have the upmost of patience and take dodging as a priority. It's not the best strat but it works for me

||id practice her a LOT. make sure you have a build you’re comfortable using with her and PV at the same time considering they’re back to back. my charm build for them when i beat P5 was quick slash,ustrength, shamans and uheart||

Yeah he's one of the most annoying bosses EVER, you gotta fail a lot to learn his patterns and when not to hit ||I look at you! Dumb stubby when swinging sword!|| ||don't let minions take off your focus so if you can't kill one sometimes just leave it until it's safe to kill it, ig you know about the Ddark when Zote falls||

||the only existing synergy is Joni's blessing, but it's more interesting than actual useful.
Other than that grubsong works pretty well, since you gain soul without actually losing hp when you let it regenerate. This means you'll also be able to heal back hp in case you get hit twice. It's quite handy for parkour. Other than that, since hiveblood isn't such a great charm, there isn't a lot it works very well with. Generally you would want to go for a more passive playstyle ||

||That definitely needs getting used to. You need to stay far away to dodge but not too far away so he doesn't end his attack and jump/dash towards you. This applies especially when trying to heal on one of his attacks.

For the entire fight make sure you never get too greedy. Always go for a maximum of 2 hits (or ideally 1 nailart if you are willing to use them) in between each attack. Afterwards, immediately move back enough to be able to dodge, but, as I mentioned earlier, don't sprint towards the opposite side of the arena since he'll just cancel his attack and follow you if you're too far away.
For his cyclone attack just stay on a wall. Whenever you're in the air and want to get down (or whenever you're in a difficult spot in general) use dive to get down/dodge and then get out of there with the I-frames.

You can heal whenever he's staggered of course, but if you learn the spacing, you can also heal on his triple slash (where he jumps and turns into a saw at the end) by dashing away just before his third attack and immediately starting to heal. (Again it is important you don't go too far away and don't stay too close)||

||what you are using is very good. Though I would probably recommend switching out quick focus and grubsong with soul catcher and shape of unn.
Both qf and grubsong are pretty good in general though in some cases, shape of unn can be just as useful for a cheaper price. It often lets you heal while they are doing nail swings which is incredibly helpful. Additionally soul catcher is just incredibly strong.
Make sure you use a lot of spells||

||for his three-hit ground attack, he can turn around after the first attack and only jumps with the spin if you're close enough. he can't turn around after the second slash though. when he jumps and lands down on you, he slashes in an arc if you're close enough. his nail art attacks usually have easy tells. when he charges by either wall, he's doing dash slash. jump up and stall. between cyclone slash and great slash, i don't remember, but i'm pretty sure there's a difference. for phase 2, there's two things you can do. i personally go for longnail charm, but you can also use great slash nail art. he only does the circular attack when he dashes close to you. shade dash away from him and turn around to hit him with either the longnail or a great slash.||
