I just found a fix to a bug I have heared multiple times where the game just crashes for certain rooms, the ||witch|| chapel is one but there is a fix!!
This fix has just been tested and confirmed

Temporary Solution: The culprit causing the crash is a ||Shellwood|| Gnat enemy in the area, the one that hangs from the roof, drops down and flies around inside its wooden shell. You'll wake this enemy as you head left - Make sure you defeat it! If you leave it alone, after it loses sight of you it will glitch out and crash the game. If you defeat it, you'll be able to progress and leave the scene as normal.

This is copied from a particular case, is this your issue?

If it happens elsewhere, try to kill all enemies in the room before a room where you bug out

It's just weird for me that data in Hollow Knight is saved in cloud where Silksong data is only local so when i unistalled steam i lost my progress? It doesn't make sense for me. What do save files looks like?

• Each Silksong save file is a user#.dat where # is the save slot for the file
• You can rename user3.dat to user1.dat to set it to your first save slot

Reverting Backups

Extremely random question, but ||does the steam at the edges of the lace 2 arena do 2 damage to Hornet or just 1? I know it does dramatically less damage to Lace than lava dunks do but I can't remember if the same is true of Hornet||
