||dream nail you can pretty much get whenever you want. It doesn't matter a lot.
The spell upgrades and the shade dash are vastly different things. The spell upgrades I recommend getting whenever you can. They are very helpful for bosses.
The shade dash, however, is one of the last things you can get in this game so no matter how you play you'll get it pretty late into your run||
