||pretty much charge it in between every one of his summons and try to hit as many enemies with it as possible. Remember that you can increase its duration by mashing the attack button. If you don't manage to get all of them with a single cyclone you can either

• charge another nailart and hit it with that if the enemy is far away
• try to kill it with 2 nailswings if you feel comfortable with that
• kill it with a spell||

||a cyclone hit deals 25% more damage than a regular nail attack which will be enough onehit the enemies||

||Also go watch some all bindings radiant collector runs. They will be a bit harder since the enemies on radiant are a lot stronger but the strats are similar except that u should probably use a few more cyclones than they do.||

Wait for him on one or two platforms and when he comes close you can hit him with a nailart or two. If he continues to come closer move away to a different platform. If not then stay on that one. For the shield spinning attack if you want to deal damage the best way is to wait until it spins twice and then get close to him and hit him with a couple of nail arts. Then shade dash away again when the shield returns.
For the second phase use all the soul you gained in the first in form of shade souls trying to get as many double hits as possible.||

||without mods, what i do is just dodge its attacks, without hitting him, so you can practice indefinitely until you get consistent with 1st phase, the you can either restart or continue the fight||
