So quick question: I'm trying to do the acid skip to queen's gardens but i can't seem to cdash from the top of the ledge. I always end up basically in the acid and that's after pressing cdash rapidly twice. am i just bad or could something be up with my controller/inputs?

You have to be way lower than you might think, also try pressing cdash button and jump at the same time when you dash into the ledge, cdash will take priority if you can cdash and if not you'll just jump and can retry

When I was trying to get a better PB in P1 speedrun, I dreamgated out because was going slow. When I was outside I noticed the Fury effect was still on. And when I entered the Pantheon; the damage that was being done by nail (at max hp) was definitely more than normal Strength damage. So maybe it was Fury+Strength damage done by the nail. So I wanted to ask if this is a major glitch or not?

Recently I posted that I could do QGA first try but barely could do the Greenpath fireball skip so I was recently speedrunning and probably around 30 runs were messed up. Only three runs that day I got passed it and did QGA first try on all of them I really need to practise Greenpath fireball skip

IMPORTANT NOTE: version 1.2.2.1 is now available as a steam beta, similar to version 1.4.3.2! what this means: no more complicated depotdownloader bs, and much easier downpatching!

the downpatching method should be the exact same as the method for downpatching from 1.5 to 1432 found in #archived-modding-help pins!

caution: 1221 is known for being very unoptimized, and not running well on lower- or even middle-range specs. if you can't run current patch at about 200fps or more, consider running 1221 to be impossible. also note that this method only applies to the steam version at the moment and not to the gog version or any others.

when you get to QGA, your position on the wall matters a lot. CDash won't start if you're too close the the top of the wall. you have to be much lower than you'd think. the bottom part of your character's eyes should be in the acid

I think for me getting out of the acid on the other side is actually gonna be the challenging part

Because i remember doing it correctly then dying trying to jump out

it's a program called socd cleaner, it should be in the resources tab on src or the resources channel in the speedrunning server

important note: it's only allowed strictly for overriding left+right and up+down with each other

Right click it, then click edit layout. You can add all sorts of modules to it, including splits etc. You can then click the edit button at the bottom of that to set up the specific modules to show different kinds of displays

They're pretty much the same. 1432 has a bug where spore Shroom deals loads of game to THK, so if you are doing any% and going through Deepnest you can use that. Besides that neither patch is strictly better than the other.

yes! (kind of)
theres nmg (the one everyone runs), then theres no main menu storage (nmms), and all glitches (ag). a lot of the nmms/ag strats arent as straightforward as nmg movement, so it'll take a bit more to learn, but it does exist. there arent too many good resources, but here's the te/cp any% ag guide if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRAGQwQN1oM

If you did want to do it on steel soul, you could probably just do the exact same thing except you pick up fury and soul catcher and collect the fungal rocks (to afford the salubra notch), then climb back into crossroads after leg eater -> kill gruz mother -> buy the salubra notch -> die

Did you activate the autosplitter? There should be displayed in 3 different rectangles "Deactivate" "Settings" "(something that I don't remember?)"
Usually that's a reason why it doesn't start automatically

You will need to bind your mouse button to a keyboard key using an external app instead. This is a known bug.
