Full answer ||there is a hidden hole in the roof above the left-side tower in greymoor that takes you to a hidden zone below underworks||

Main things to note
||you can parry her bells away from you. Also i hagent tested but apparently a phase 2 trick is after every 3 bell attacks, the patterns not the # of bells, she does her melee charge on the ground. Good for knowing when to dodge it. Other than that pick some good ranged tools and try to avoid bells but keep pressure on her. I think she has less hp than phase 1 so as long as you keep up aggro you will get her down.||

||Might be weird at the very start but i think after first charge you can start counting bell patterns. It might carry over from phase 1. Also basic ass tip is try to go into phase 2 at full hp if you can manage. I find best tome to attack her is when she is making bells rain straight down. If you can learn the safe spot for the diagnol bells so that the "lower one" doesnt hit you, the upper one can be parried with a well timed upswing. Which means you can stand close to her and wail on her||

There are enough ||grounded enemies that i find the occasional cogwheel/buzz saw to be great. Remember harpoon strike is your friend for fliers. Obvs make sure to take full advantage of all the sources of silk between rooms. If you didnt find it, there is a bench to the right of the non-dream bit. Right of whwre you play the song to enter. Id recommend trying to minimize your tool usage in the first room so you have more to spam in the last two rooms (3 you gotta complete before boss checkpoint) and my final advice or more just help. The final wave of the third room is the two big jellyfish things. Id you see that, stay cautious but focus on the win. There is a breakable coral spike after third arena that is a checkpoint.||

The rest is just good tool usage, careful evasion, and spotting safe windows to heal

I like defaults but general advice
||jumping and attacking happens often so make sure you have those in comfortable spots. Needolin doesnt need to be used much in high tension situations so it is the "least important" button to press while actively moving. You still use it often but not one that happens in combat. Silk/tool is used often, in combination with up and down. Make sure it is a good spot. Bind is your heal. Sprint is also your dodge. Always useful so keep it in a comfortable spot. Harpoon is also good movement and good in combat so make sure it is somewhere you feel good using. Quick map is handy to use while walking but less important. Might see more active use than needolin depending on how you play. Hope this helps||

Anyways if u want to save edit just locate ur save file in ur folder system, it should be a dat extension file, then put the dat file into an online save editor (im not sure if there’s one specifically for silksong yet but the one for hollow knight https://bloodorca.github.io/hollow/ also works to decrypt silksong save files). After that u should be able to find a field called ||permaDeathMode|| or smth similar to that. For that field, 0 means normal, 1 means ||steel soul||, and 2 means ||defeated steel soul|| file. Once u change it to what u want, simply replace the original save file with that and open the game.

But one thing I found useful to keep in mind if the opportunity arises was that if u clawline into a flea u get a bounce off of it, the extra height is extremely helpful for recovery purposes.||

if all else fails i'll just cheese her with ||posion cogflies|| I guess, feels bad but is what it is

i did some fights against this boss and here's what i came up with: ||wow this boss sucks more than i remember, she's very unpredictable and can attack from offscreen 😭
anyway, in general whenever she teleports into the air, dash toward her and strike from below, as she can't throw rings straight down. if she teleports high and close to you though, she might be doing the slam attack. the slam attack is better dodged by jumping rather than dashing away, since you can jump over the burst and attack her as you're coming down. about a third of the time she will chain two slams together, so jump, hit jump, hit. when she dashes, you can dodge with a jump and then double jump to land next to her right after she throws the ring, so you can get an extra hit in.||

Ye i started using it recently
||injector band good for quick hits and multibind makes it hit and heal for more. Harder to use vs small quick bosses but possible if you can catch them with it mid attack using clever timing and positioning. Needle hits are fun and snappy tho the dash attack i think needs you to land both hits to send you airborne which is a bit weird||

||even with nerf there is nothin wrong with flintslate if you like it. Might still go well with witch's charge attacj since i think it can multihit if you mash attack? Cant go wrong with flea brew or tools that fit the job. Tacks or cogwheel for often Grounded enemies, pins or curveclaw when you can hit the sweet spot. Druids eyes are nice if you know you will get hit often and like having 2 extrs silk for taking damage but not as good as other charms. Reserve bind always handy in a pinch also||

For her diagnol bells, if you stand out of the way of the "lower" aimed bell, the higher one goes for you. But yiu can parry it away with an attack. Needle hitting her when she is making bells fall straight down is a good chance to attack. Throw rsnged weapons at her when she is away from you. I believe she will do her rapid swiping charge at you after 3 barsges of bells according to a speed runner i watch sometimes. Worth keeping count so you can be ready to dodge||
