One of my favorite things to do with Groovy was using its -nightcore or play around with -speed in general. Being able to "DJ" in Discord was really cool and I loved Groovy mostly for those features. Another feature imo that just made Groovy superior, was the fact you could literally send any music link, whether it be Spotify, YouTube or SoundCloud (I use all 3 platforms for music, so that means a lot to me) and it would just play the songs, instead of crying that it couldn't find a similar video on youtube, like most other bots do.

I'm truly upset and shaken that this is happening, and as a necessary side note, I wish every Groovy team-member the best in the future. And to the rest of us, I hope we'll recover from this, and look back to the glorious days, where Groovy was by our side! ❤️

My favorite memory of Groovy was of when I accidentally found the artist Beach Bunny. I think I was looking for that TikTok Prom Dress song and accidentally stumbled upon Prom Queen by Beach Bunny. One day, I was, not only me everyone in my server (quite a lot of people) were shocked when they heard the news of groovy bot going down, people even changed their name and pfp to groovy in our server. I own a small server for my friends from my own place and internationally, I remember desperately trying to find out if there's a bot for discord which plays music and groovy was the first bot which popped up in my search list, my whole gang was freaking out over this bot and listening to all sorts of music for almost the whole day!

This is one of my latest memories of this bot when my gf was having a bad day and that she's away from me for 2 days straight, so I was trying to make her feel better, I just played some random mood freshening songs on groovy and omg, it worked so good! I have been using groovy for quite some time now. It's helped me use all the amazing ambience I could get that are too long for other bots to play on groovy during my DND games. At times at night, I get extremely anxious and when my phobia and anxieties were at all times high, i simply command groovy "-play fireplace ambience" yes with ambience specifically misspelled every single time. I've asked groovy that same command for so goddamn long that my keyboard automatically generates the command for me now. I'll definitely miss groovy for sure. The creator has no idea how many nights this bot saved me from my own nightmarish mind. Thank you to groovy for everything.
