Hey hey translators,
while we're trying to revamp a bunch of things within our ongoing translations, I am planning on making @blissful swan open-source and entirely based on a different language.
The reason why I'm partially making this decision is due to the fact that I am mostly not able to actively work on the bot along with the internship I'm in, aswell as the bot might've required a full recode as it is made in java, aswell as not done greatly.
Plan is to bring its features over to discordjs or discordpy as Java is honestly not the greatest language to code a bot in.
If you're willing to help us get started with the fundamentals of the bot, feel free to DM me.
The current bot has and should retain the following features:
Should fetch current translations from the top.gg crowdin (both projects)
Pagination between languages using buttons
Switching between translations (backend, web) using select menus
💡 Always here for any other ideas on the bot that may help translators with making translations
Note:
The bot will be hosted on an extra-hosted server.
It will likely be entirely version controlled through GitHub and deployed onto said server using workflows. I'll be responsible for settings these up.
Anyone contributing towards the bot will also be rewarded with the Open source contributor role, which is also the case on any other open source projects within the top.gg github.

Sometimes there are some words like servers, joins, and analytics that are never spoken in Hindi language by common people and people just say them in English. So, should those words need to be translated to their hindi translation or just written with hindi alphabets? because if they are translated to hindi, then normal people won’t even know what they mean

we also having that issue when translating a word which has multiple meanings and they are just close to each
usually, the word "server" can be translated as the hosting server or such but for the kind of community server, that meaning doesn't make sense so had to fix it by keeping it as is until there's actual translation for that meaning case
I can, perhaps, translate it to community but most of the time it wouldn't fit as not all the servers are community

I'd recommend just checking what Discord use if they have any documentation in your language
And if that doesn't exist then use the "computer server" server since that's what Discord seem to do in other languages.
