If you're not working for the role, you would not be caring about it too much. There's no such thing as if you're being rejected or not because there's no application, the project is open for anyone to contribute, and the top contributers get the role for each language. They have not been updating on who would have the role and if they are still active on crowdin. And this is when saying you should train your english more gets in action

Hey! Regarding this, I have an update to share. After some investigation it seems like a Github linking issue. We're working to resolve this. It should be a pretty simple fix so it shouldn't take too long. I'd estimate it might be fixed by the end of the week but there's no defined ETA.

- Not everybody cares, all they see is a bad translation. As someone who regularly has to deal with terrible translations on websites who just won't let me see the original text, I understand the sentiment
- You say that as if people are supposed to detach the text they read from the website they read it on. And that's... weird? That translation has a direct impact on their UX, and if their UX is bad, that is a worse reputation for us.

The following languages would generally be a priority to our Discord Server Messages project:
- Hindi
- Turkish
- German
- French
- Portuguese
- Indonesian
Please keep in mind that we won't support different varities (such as french having french, quebec) as of now and will only go for the primarily spoken language (which are listed above). If theres any errors on these, please let me know beforehand.

Translations are based on crowdsourcing, you are free to participate, but we do not offer monetary rewards/incentives. We do reward users for contributing by giving them the <@&842556283450425344> role.

The requirements are being kept internal, but we do sometimes check on requirements met.
How are the contributions published? What happens when something is entirely approved?
We are currently in the process of trying out a few things on how we can publish the translations. For example for the #rules-and-info translations, the thought had been to use threads or forums.
I speak language xyz, but can't find it on crowdin. How can I request it?
You can contact a Language coordinator for this, they should be able to add a new language for you, [they're listed here](#site-translators message). Though if you request a language to be added, please contribute to it. Otherwise it may be removed again.

I know we are supposed to keep the translations informal, but does this still apply to auctions? I don't know about other languages, but in French informal = unprofessional 99% of the time, and I don't think you want to seem unprofessional when money is involved.

we currently have the following languages almost ready for completion on our #rules-and-info and just require proofreading and a bit more translation:

Our goal is to have at least 3 fully translated and proofread languages to get started with trying to implement these into the server. The reason why we require a fully translated and proofread language is due to the way of how the translations are displayed, each into one message.
So in order to have your language be included, we require it to be fully translated and proofread.
