The average up-to-date approval times are stated [here](#support message).

Currently our average bot reviewal times are around one week or more. Because of this — and because some bots take longer to review than others due to their features — we can't guarantee your bot will be reviewed as quickly as someone else's in the past and we also can't guarantee your bot will be reviewed within that timeframe. There is no exact time for how long bot approval can take. There is no way to check your bot's position in our reviewal queue, but remember you're not first and you're not last!

You may edit your bot's page as much as you like both before and after it's reviewed and this will have no impact on its place in queue.

the custom url can also be just a discord oauth invite provided by you if your bot needs specific permissions

So, whatever permissions you get when you join is what the bot gets.

Re-read the article listed above: If your bot requires certain permissions, these permissions will be given to the bot

Ultimately, we understand bots often include features that require more than these permissions. Hence, if your bot has a feature that does require more permissions than those listed above, you should request for that specific permission when a specific feature or command requires them to do so or within your bot’s description. Bots are not allowed to blanket the request under "Administrator", due to the volatility of the permission.

My Bot has more than 5 features, but currently not available to everyone. That's more like a server requested the feature and I implemented it to work on that specific server. I also don't find this requirement in your Bot Guidelines. So now I don't know if I should try to make one or two features that are currently server-specific public or if the Bot does not need 5 features

My bot is a casino currently and is largely single player.

I'm adding multiplayer versions of most games but they're proving to be quite resource intensive so I'm looking at making them 'gated' access without pay walling and thought that having it behind voting would be a good way to achieve this

I read https://support.top.gg/support/solutions/articles/73000502505-voting-guidelines and I'm not 100% sure whether ToS would allow this or not as the bot is already on top.gg and this is a new feature

Essentially right now for example you have say /coinflip and voting would unlock /coinflip multiplayer:true (haven't decided whether 1 vote per day or 1 per 48h but some form of time-based 'allowance' for playing the multiplayer games)

One of my bot's tags was removed, I assume it was deemed not pertinent?
Now the bot doesn't actually play music, but it's very music related, allowing people to collect musical artists and bands and such, everyone from kpop to rappers to the Beatles.
We've even had partnership offers with musical artists.
As such, the music tag is quite relevant.
This has happened before, even the anime tag was removed once when it clearly states it everywhere, including in the tagline and on the page.

The music tag applies to bots which have a music functionality/feature. If your bot has music cards, then your tag should be music-cards and such.

Try to keep your tags as relevant as possible

Moreover you were warned about this in the past, and it seems the tag has been removed atleast 3 times.

If it happens a 4th time, it'll be the final time and you'll be removed from the platform.

Thank you for the clarification but I don't believe that's said anywhere, also this was my 2nd warning.
The previous times that the music tag was removed were arbitrary iirc, you should be able to check I believe but all tags were removed or relevant ones were as well.
Like anime, games, etc, they were all removed without anything provoking it, and I had only noticed after a while.

If tags are removed, there should be a note left in your bot description by a moderator. They're removed for a reason and shouldn't be readded unless given permissions to do so by a Moderator+

There was only one note that I remember, but a moderator had removed most of the tags, which I suppose you can check.
All VERY relevant, the core parts of the bot.
This called into question the reasoning and individuality of the moderators, and made the whole situation inconsistent.
The repeat offense as you say, was due to inconsistency, and general confusion as the removals seemed arbitrary.
But yes, the music tag won't be readded, however deciding how relevant a tag is to a bot does seem imprecise, and thank you for the response.

The logs I went back on support my judgement and statement above. There were discussions held regarding if your tags were relevant or not. I can only find discussion about the music tag in particular being removed before, I don't see anything else at a quick glance.

Nevertheless, if you've any additional questions or concerns about it and want to escalate, you're more than welcome to shoot a dm to a Community Manager They also partook in the same discussions.

April 25th 2022, you received a DM from a Moderator explicitly outlining why your Music tag was removed, and you were specifically told not to re-add it. Perhaps you forgot about it?

Currently our average bot reviewal times are around one week or more. Because of this — and because some bots take longer to review than others due to their features — we can't guarantee your bot will be reviewed as quickly as someone else's in the past and we also can't guarantee your bot will be reviewed within that timeframe. There is no exact time for how long bot approval can take. There is no way to check your bot's position in our reviewal queue, but remember you're not first and you're not last!

You may edit your bot's page as much as you like both before and after it's reviewed and this will have no impact on its place in queue.

Some of your bot's features require the bot itself to have the ADMINISTRATOR permission. NO bot requires administrator permissions to function. Please only require the permissions your bot truly needs.

I don't think it's possible for my bots dynamic vc feature to function without administrator every other vc bot like it requires admin.

Bots should only require permissions that are actually needed for its features. This may include for example MANAGE_ROLES for muting a user by assigning them a mute role or MANAGE_CHANNELS for renaming a channel.

It is important to differentiate between:
Requiring the user to have certain permissions to use your bots command
The bot itself requiring permissions to use features the user requested

How can I figure out what permissions my bot needs?
Discord provides a documentation on which permissions need what, which can be found here. Please note that this may not include all the permissions certain features may need. This is the case on bots requiring MANAGE_ROLES instead of MANAGE_CHANNELS when creating channel permission overrides. So take advantage of the search feature within discords API documentation.

Admin rights is basically as if you give the bot every other rights. So if the Bot has every right except admin, it is (almost) the same. And if your bot is creating temp channels, you can remove permissions like creating invites or managing roles. The main difference is, that admin sees all channels and without admin, you have to check if the bot sees the channels/categories you want

Odd, I've been able to reproduce it across two devices, one freshly booted and on different networks

Update: pressing vote and waiting for a few seconds makes the "Thanks for voting" block revert to a vote button on my phone
