Proud of myself today. I've fallen into so much complacency with my builds, especially my Gunner NTP and BRT Lead Spray build. I usually blow through Haz 5 without much problem unless it's rough RNG or having to carry people. But I tried a Lead Storm Bulldog build on a Haz 4 Elim and it was a struggle but I manged to pull it out. I think I'm going to attempt a different build each week and get out of my comfort zone. The problem is I'm usually playing with friends on Haz 5 but I'd rather try new stuff on Haz 4 by myself since I'm learning new stuff. Just gotta make the time.

No, that is only available on the Steam version.
Since Xbox apps are required to use DirectX 12 and the Microsoft Store version on Windows is essentially the same app, the version on Windows must also use DirectX 12

There's a visual bug with Leadstorm minigun where the firing animation doesn't come from the gun itself, you can see bullets come out of nowhere and nothing from the minigun. Been in the game for a while, never thought of recording because I figured it'd get fixed but now I'm thinking it's console specific because it happens so often and nobody ever mentioned it. First time seeing someone post about it here. Hard to see because of the mule but it has me thinking it might happen when performing actions like depositing

Having played both Microsoft Store and Steam, I can't say I've noticed any significant differences, aside from mod support

I would suggest choosing the version that allows you to play with the most amount of friends, but if both versions are equal in that regard then there's no reason not to get the Steam version

I'm p sure they said on a previous stream they don't even have a Series X/S in house and have no plans on releasing a specific Series' upgrade. That's the problem with all the fragmented console releases, they expect Devs to put in extra work - and pay them to for the privilege of pushing the update to MSoft/Sony servers (remember Devs have to pay something like 5K for each update they have to upload on their platform) it's wack and a lose lose for the Devs. Only first party titles will realistically put the time into Series X upgrades and it's understandable

Anybody understand why haz 5 is so inconsistent?

Sometimes me an my team breeze through missions with barely any bugs

But last night on a 200 morkite mission with the least ace length and complexity we got swarm after swarm filled with bulks and even found a Korlok

What I did was bought a cheap $10 wireless keyboard. You can plug the USB directly into the Xbox and hit enter to bring up chat. Maybe people do not realize you can use a physical keyboard and mouse with an Xbox.

Had one of those moments where I kind of wished I weren't playing with such experienced players. Did a hacking pod with a team of all 400+ players. Engineers and I created a great defensible spot with two choke points with a platform roof. We start it. Literally everyone but me goes off and solos the swarm and start dying. I don't know what got into everyone, but I think everyone just got cocky, meanwhile I'm getting overran trying to keep the hacking pod up. Then I have to run and revive people. Got the whole team up and everyone just still refuses to get to the defensible spot and I have to burn an iron will just to finish the event. I get that people don't want to get trapped, but if you just leave the hack running it's going to keep spawning enemies. Everyone was just running around killing bugs and dying. 9/10 times I promise greener players all huddle together rather than Yolo the swarm away from the objective.

Executioner is better and easier to use in my opinion. I pair it with inferno breach cutter with plasma trail. I use chemical rounds with that same breach cutter sometimes still.

It really is. I just started using it, but had been using the guaranteed lock hit for a while.

Different strokes for different blokes. But I find that ECR gives me a perfect balance of swarm clear, plus being able to electro "lock" big enemies and clear them. Plus the fear on explosion is really underrated. Never had the infamous ammo issues with that build.

I feel like executioner paired with breach has no downsides tho. You have efficient swarm clear and can easily deal with large enemies as well. Range is not an issue and the build doesn’t struggle much against dreads either, making it perfect for both DD’s and EDD’s.

I don’t have much experience with ECR though so I’m probably gonna try it again. I just don’t use lok-1 a lot honestly. Still more of a warthog type of guy.

the issue too is that executioner is just really good and helps the lok with its weaknesses even with a quicker max lock on time

one of the downsides is actually a buff in a way because of the T5b Mod

and the only other downside is a small ammo

to deal with swarms you can use your turrets or a secondary

the rest of the OC's fall into the not being viable tier is just not fun

the weapon just needs a bit of rework to make some Mods and buff some OC's in general

Unsure if this has been addressed or not. Currently on XBox, I can’t cancel an assignment to pick a different one. Can’t start the rival escalation assignment or any of the new weapon assignments until I complete an armor hunt assignment I selected during my last play session before season 2.

There are a few assignments that say they can't be cancelled once you start them so maybe that's one of them
