So idk how to create a bug report on Jira reporter after making an account but I’ve already searched for the issue and it wasn’t found. So I’m not sure if it’s only Xbox but sometimes when an objective is completed the text gets stuck on screen and the game volume dramatically drops for the rest of the mission.

I've heard there are issues with the Goo Gun causing crashes. Someone was apparently exploiting it on the steam version to intentionally crash games. I've just had as many IS crash as I've completed it seems like. Both as host and joining others.

The mission I was just on didn't have the Goo Gun though.

I have a weird issue where I can't ever hear anyone's voice chat in public lobbies on xbox/windows. I see their PTT icon come up. I just can't hear them. They can hear me if I use PTT. I can hear people fine in parties. But for some reason I can just never hear voice in the game. I'm on Windows fwiw. Does anyone have any idea what settings to check? Either in game (I've messed with everything but willing to take advice) or in xbox live settings?

I have checked in DRG:

  • options -> audio -> voice chat (on)
  • options -> audio -> incoming voice chat audio (max)
  • audio output source (messed with it but i think it's right)

2nd Industrial Sabotage in a row that the game has just crashed. 3 out of the last 4.

One I was the host. Last night I was joining randoms. Today my friend was the host.

It's really bad. Usually we get an error about video issues or something like that.

I think that the game might not show gamer tags that use special characters. So that number is probably the suffix of the gamer tag, and probably the only part DRG was able to display. I've seen that happen before with a random person who joined, but I don't recall the number and I don't think they were griefing

I can easily crash my game repeatedly just by loading up server list scroll to the bottom and scroll up and press b to leave it then I’m stuck on map with music playing then after about 1-2 minutes it crashes to desktop

I've ran across users with 200-something in the username. I don't know if I was necessarily griefed by them, but I do recall some weird behavior. Such as joining, leaving, then rejoining but with a different class/loadout (but like now they were 262 instead of 261).

I assumed it was someone with alts so they could see what was in the mission and change their loadout.

Anyone else on Xbox have all their DLC constantly missing? Not just supporter, but Roughneck, megacorp etc. I have all the paid DLC and the majority of the time, it is all missing when I boot the game up. I usually have to restart DRG a few times for the DLC to reappear.

I've always had an issue with DLC for like a year now. Roughneck won't display on Engi or Driller, either will Dawn of the Dread, but appears on other classes. I can equip it, it just doesn't display. Big sad.

Idk what it is, I’m by no means a TV expert, but my TV is only a year old a doesn’t struggle with anything other than drg. Every other mission my audio will glitch out and become crackly while my screen lags immensely. This will usually happen during swarms and if the enemies don’t get cleared I will get that memory message and be sent to my home screen. When playing industrial sabo my TV and xbox will shut off without warning. Sometimes this is due to a blown fuse other times the devices will come right back on.

If you're tripping the circuit breaker, you are attempting to use more power than is safe. Have you recently plugged in any appliances in the same room or in a nearby room. Perhaps a heater since it's starting to get colder?

Unfortunately, without seeing your space I could only speculate, but an older residence often did not split up different rooms onto different circuits (there wasn't much need to do so). So, if you have rooms sharing the circuit, everything plugged in in those rooms will add to the amount of power being used on that circuit, and can easily overload the circuit without looking like a lot is plugged in at any one spot

Either way, when it sounds like with the tree plugged in and turned on, when things cause the Xbox to work a littler harder it seems to be just enough to overload the circuit. If no one in the home is familiar with the power setup, you might need to get an electrician in to take a look at everything.
As a stopgap, you can try unplugging anything and everything you don't need in nearby rooms to reduce power usage on that circuit, but without knowing the circuit layout you might not make much of a difference. Even still, it sounds like you need more power in that space to handle how you have things set up, which means having an electrician check things out is not a bad idea

I mean Sleep mode is relative to how long the TV has been on, not the time of day, but having it happen on the same mission type is wack. Is it a particularly large TV? Regardless, best fix I can think of is to down the backlight brightness and have a look see if anything is set to an intensely high level. Weird tho cos like there are far more visual effects going on in the Ommeran Boss fight than the Caretaker one imo

Was playing with 2 Xbox friends (I'm on windows) and we were doing am industrial Sabotage for the challenge, they crash

We go again and it's a double XP one nice, we find an error cube, they crash again. Goodbye double xp

So then I have to host with my worse wifi because I was the only one not crashing, even then there are still severe lag spikes upon start of any sabotage

need help with DLCs not showing up in game. i purchased the supporter DLC probably about a year when i played on xbox. since then i have switched to windows 10 and i cant use the supporter pack. i also own most of the other DLCs and they show up in game just fine. if you need proof that i own it, it says i do in my settings and store, and i also still have some of the supporter paint jobs on my guns.i have also "reset" the supporter pack in app setting and i have uninstalled and re-installed it. any help with this would be much appreciated.

There are devs in here, just not on their days off, understandably. However, if the support you need is the DLC cosmetics are not showing up in-game, it's a known issue, the devs are aware, and we all just need to be a bit patient for a fix. If it's something else, they may be able to give you more support when they're back in the office (after the weekend)

We still have this bug it’s not fixed. Fixed a bug that enabled Silicate Harvesters to walk on walls. It’s suppose to be fixed in update 29 but it’s not

As for the health, it's possible that health resets or regens if an enemy gets far enough away, although I don't recall noticing it either. That said, enemies usually run towards someone relentlessly, so it's hard to get everyone far enough away to see if it happens. The prospector, though, does seem to fly pretty far away sometimes. I'll try to keep an eye out

Welcome to Haz 5! Public Haz 5's are pretty limited on the server list (seems like only 2-5 are ever going at a time) so chances are if you are joining lobbies you'll probably run into my wife and I as we usually host.

Yeah the state of Haz 5 is pretty sad. I feel like the problem is that it kind of becomes a little too hard to carry on 5 unless you're a total god at the game. So people often get frustrated with opening and having missions sink when players get in over their head. So a lot of people probably play private or with their own friends.

This was from earlier this year. On a Friday night (central US). The server list was sorted by High to low Hazard. Two Hazard 5 and six Haz 4. Admittedly that's one of the worst cases, but we definitely need more people hosting.

I think you're right. Also I think failing Haz 5 a bunch is part of a necessary step into getting good enough to consistently play it. But it's one thing for people to grind it out in their own games, and another for people to to join random games and die. I'm not saying people shouldn't join or try it, but I hope it's okay to admit the prospect probably causes some frustration and hesitancy for others to go public. Most people probably don't have friends who are willing to die and fail with them while they make the transition.

I've had games where people join in Escort, immediately die within 20 seconds, and can't even make it back to Doretta after reviving before they die again.

When I started Haz 4, me and my friends probably had an 80% fail rate, no joke. Now most Haz 5 games aren't too bad as long as funky RNG stuff doesn't bite us. I think struggling through it is absolutely essential to get to a spot where you can do it, but it is doable.

I always find it really funny how super experienced teams in public games, when you get them, can run into teamwork issues because they're too knowledgeable about what they should be doing. You often have troubles with greenbeards who can't seem to do anything independently and waste a lot of time following someone around that could be used to do something useful instead. But with gold+ lobbies, sometimes I have the opposite problem where nobody wants to waste time so they all go pick a task to do, and they're very experienced so they confidently stick to their task knowing that it'll be useful to the team, but every individual person chose a different task so the team ends up working against one another

Ah yeah, I've definitely been a part of that and a little guilty myself. Everyone is pretty confident in their own ability to stay alive, and usually they're right. But then they encounter some bad luck or a just overestimate how far, or the game spawns a grabber that gets you then an immediate swarm - at the exact moment someone dies from a fall. Haha.

I'm usually on comms with one or two other people so thankfully between us, even if there's a random or two we can dictate the flow of teamwork well enough.

The success rate of Haz 5 missions is greatly improved with communication and a coordinated effort. It's a heck of a challenge, and while a group of strangers can absolutely pull it off with minimal-to-no communication, a lot of things have to go right.
Knowing what others are doing and are going to do informs everyone's decision and actions, and, lacking more in-depth communication than salutes and laser pointers, that can be hard to pull off even among very solid veteran players who are all strangers

Absolutely. Heck, even with my friends and I it happens. There's absolutely some amount of overconfidence with our group on occasion, which definitely doesn't help, but there's also the times we all pull an egg at just about the same moment because we've all independently decided to "divide and conquer," when all we've managed to do is divide ourselves and be conquered. When you pull off the comeback it feels epic though, and getting destroyed helps remind us that we need to actually focus if we're gonna do Haz 5 and hope to succeed

There's little things that just aren't possible to convey in context without comms, for sure. Like telling your gunner, "I need a shield now or we're going to die." Obviously a good gunner can have a feel for the right moments, but without being able to communicate the team is being overrun over voice you can miss some moments.

Or how at 5, everyone is busy kiting and trying to stay alive. But everyone has those moments where you can tell you're about to be overrun for whatever reason, being able to yell for help over comms is a huge advantage to staying alive. In random lobbies most don't have the situational awareness to deduce that.

Obviously you can type on a keyboard (eve on xbox), but no one can communicate that fast in the heat of battle where it's most essential.

I honestly like Haz 4 better. But my wife and whoever we play with get bored unless it's 5 so we play that 99% of the time. 😂 4 I can just kind of chill and explore, the exploring and mining are my favorite part - not that I don't love the combat.

Haz 5 gives you very little chance for breathers, so the action is pretty constant. Not necessarily for everyone.

Though like I said earlier, my team used to fail Haz 4 like 80% of missions and now don't really have trouble with 5 unless stuff goes down. So while it might seem like "I'll never be able to do it", you probably can if you commit to it. Not that you have to.

For what it's worth, I found 3 to 4 harder of a transition than 4 to 5.

In 4 most enemies can quickly kill you, and you can't really get "more dead" than dead. So the habits you develop in 4, once you're consistently staying alive, translate much better to 5. Going from 3 to 4 you're kind of used to brushing off swarms, you don't have to immediately stop mining when attacked even.

There is sometimes certain countries or regions where a game may not be available. It's possible it is something like that. And if you bought Game Pass in one region and then switched region settings in Windows, that can cause problems. But do make sure Windows is updated and make sure your system time is set correctly, as those are some things you can check without having to wait for customer support. You could also try resetting and repairing your Xbox app in the Windows Settings menu

Ive set Patch 05 to publish now, so you should be seeing the update in 1-60min

  • it contains Patch 5, the ingame version number is 64653
  • It should have a fix for the supporter pack that hopefully works
  • If you or a friend have connection issues try this
  1. Make sure you have the update
  2. Make sure you have updated
  3. Check that you have updated
  4. Make your friend perform step 1-3
  5. If it still doesnt work, make sure you have updated and it will work

Guys for the third time now it gives me an option to update the game. I'm playing on pc through Xbox live. I press update and nothing happens. Since this started alot of enemis have had glitchy textures mostly enemies such as preatorians, opressors, mactera spawns and grabbers, swarmers and also the tumours on the walls in the radioactive zone. The glitching includes weird flashing and different colours from the usual. Ive earlier uninstalled the game and re installed it through the microsoft store but the update thing is now back again. Anyone have any idea what i should do?

One of my favorite moments in the game is playing a cryo minelet scout, and going against a spitballer. The best way to take them down is to zip up above their heads, so that you can shoot downward at an angle to procure the freeze - rendering them harmless and able to be taken down quickly.

Sometimes it's easier than others depending on if you're able to grapple high enough, or close enough to avoid waking or haven't your bullets hit right.

There's a sweet & sour spot, where you're touching heaven but teetering above hell. You've flown high enough but you're not sure if you got the right angle or accuracy on your shot - you know if you don't then you're going to land right next to an angry spitballer.

That moment between worlds is one of my favorite adrenaline rushes (partially freezing then landing next to one and trying to finish the job before being murdered is also up there).

Anyone have similar favorite moments?
