i played a match yesterday. I somehow crashed due to a mod error, despite not having any mods. I wish i saved that report. Someone in the same lobby also crashed the same time i did and we both rejoined. It was very weird. I'll do more matches to test this

Elimination mission, somehow bugged the grenades where if it hit the boss bug it adds to the grenade count by 1, only got verified mods and the host got a approved mod for a skin I assume, happens after I died the 6th time, donno how to recreate

Hello all! Just a question for a new player. I am playing on Steam Deck and I found that in the first run during the language setting despite picking Spanish as my language the patch note settings were in a non understandable language for me. After resetting, the game looks in Spanish but the patch notes are in English. I don't have really problem with English but I want to know if the patch notes are also translated or are only in few languages (English mainly). Thanks in advance!

• Disable your mods (can do so by using the Safe mode launch option)
• Update your GPU drivers
• Reinstall your drivers using DDU so all leftovers are properly removed

• Make sure your save is not corrupted (back it up somewhere, then delete it from the game's folder)

Hey, I'd like to make a bug report.
I unfortunately was unable to record it happening, but I had a bug where upon approaching the drop pod to extract, it just... left without Molly and I, and counted as me failing the mission.

I had some strange collision occur as I was trying to wrap around the back of the drop pod from the cave to hold out by the door. I think what may have happened is during that brief moment of odd collision, it registered me as being inside the pod, and triggered the extraction sequence.
If this has already been reported, sorry for duplicate message, but it really threw me off.

And yeah if you manage to clip into the pod, the pod will leave, if you clip out again during the leaving sequence the mission will fail

Just reproduced it. about to upload vid to pleasefix. There's no clip inside of the pod. There's a corner of the green extraction zone inside of the ship that extends slightly outside of the ship on the back corners. Climbing on top of this while in an enclosed area triggered the pod to leave.

Disabled mods and tried again on a 200 morkite mission, still unable to replicate

The only mods I have change game sounds, hud, and increase the lobby size. It's possible that one of them is the issue but I can't fathom why

I'm willing to bet there's something with the mods that, for some reason, changes that part to be visible, but you can still climb and collide with it there in your vid, even with the mods disabled.

The only times I got it to work on my end was when the cave around the drop pod was closed in so far you couldn't really move around it. That might be a necessary part of triggering it (that's sadly RNG)

I'll have to do more testing when I get home from work

DRG stoped my mic from woking in discord voice randomly. I have to leave and rejoin voice channel for it to start working again. I tried making DRG use a different mic then I use for discord and disabling voice in DRG but it still did it. I'm on windows 11 I never use to have this problem till like this week. Is there a way to revoke DRGs access to my mic so maybe it will stop doing that?

Jesus christ, everytime I start a mission, it keeps changing my driller's armor and skin to the one used in my Scout. I attempted every " solutions ": changing the beards, mustache, skin color. I tried to play with my friend. We took weekly core hunt. Strange thing is we saw 2 mission being activated at the same time. Liquid morkite one and another one is egg hunt. When I initiated the mission (liquid morkite), my pal saw the mission as egg hunt. We tried launching to the game. Strangely, I play normally but my pal saw me clipping through walls, flying etc. I tried to join other's weekly core hunt, and I got the exact same issue too. What is happening to our game and what is this?

These crashes started happening out of nowhere a few months (or so) ago. There wasn't a specific update that caused the issue as far as I know.
I've verified files, restarted pc, reinstalled drg, updated everything that I could, tried lowering graphics, fps count, fiddled with settings in general, disabled mods, and I've asked Dr Google many questions. Nothing has overheated, percentages (gpu/cpu usage) are always fine, there's no lag or delay, and memory is never overloaded.

Everything's still up to date. I think I remember trying dx11 (maybe 12 as well), but I'll attempt it anyway. I've actually already reinstalled my display drivers within the last few months because of another issue.

I capped my FPS at 60 because I don't notice any difference between 60 and higher frame rates. ^^ It just limits more problems.

if you need a gpu stability test, use furmark, but not for longer than 60 seconds and cancel the test if you reach beyond 80°C

hi guys my bro has this bug where the game launches fine but when he gets into the game, the FOV is maxxed out, even when er manually set it and the game looks like it's being rendered at a lower resolution despite having the resolution scale at 100%. i'm honestly stumped

we tried running it in DX12 and DX11 to see if that fixed the issue, verified steam files, all good, refreshed GPU drivers, all good. not sure what else to do other then reinstall the game

I dunno if this has been raised yet, but the Kursite Grinder is behaving in a strange way -- it's almost like each piece of Kursite counts for more than it should. I just completed a 4 kursite event by only depositing 2 pieces of Kursite. Also the Kursite Praetorians stuck around afterward and had to be killed instead of poofing when the event ended

Not a GSG employee, but I do work in software. In my experience, it's common to see teams have a rotating on-call person, so each person will have a period of time scheduled well in advance where they know they'll have to be available for emergency situations. That way things like this can be handled without unexpectedly yanking people out of their weekend. Where I work it's planned out months ahead of time

Latency is going to be determined by the quality of your connection to the host as well as the quality of the hosts internet. It's a p2p game, no dedicated servers.

If your host has shit internet or is located far away, then you're going to suffer.

Yeah, if your connection is fine with other close by hosts in DRG I would try it with your friend hosting in some other P2P game, if it's bad there as well it's likely just them having a questionable connection or mindboggling routing with two different ISPs

If your chosen dwarf doesn't have any stars yet, then neither the weapons nor the promotion will appear. The first time you level up a specific dwarf, the weapons and equipment will appear as soon as you reach a certain level (red level) of the respective dwarf - (just play and level up that specific dwarf, eventually its weapon missions will appear). When that dwarf reaches level 25 for the first time, the promotion will appear. From then on, after you promote the dwarf, the promotion mission will be visible but unavailable in the task list until you reach again lvl 25 with that specific dwarf.

This is valid for each dwarf separately, and when you level up a dwarf (without stars) for the first time.

but in general, if you don't hang around suspicious places or do potentially risky things, windows defender is good enough for most people.

installed antiviruses, VPN's, "antivirus browsers" and other unecessary tools will only take performance away from your PC because they need to be constantly active and they're not even that good. The only ones worthwhile would be BitDefender and Kaspersky. Otherwise, in terms of security, it's just Bloatware @minor lichen

In simple terms, this is basically it:

• Another thing you can try is if you have ssucess in installing in another location, you can try make a Backup of the game (just go in the game settings in steam and search for the Backup option in the same location of the integrity file checker). After that, change the location for the installation to the default / previously one, and then restore that game clicking in the word "Steam" (in the top left corner of the app) and then select the option to Restore backup --> Select thee folder with the game and wait a bit to complete

I'm glad you got on with it, but keeping the antivirus turned off isn't something I'd recommend in the long term. To test one thing or another to see if it's the problem, it's not a bad idea, but I wouldn't recommend keeping it off constantly although yes, it might have a slight but small use on the CPU - assuming it's only working in the background.

Despite this, it probably means that your windows defender may have a fault with some of its components or there may be a problem with the antivirus itself, as this is not a normal thing to happen. Or maybe you have rawnsoware protection enabled and this prevents applications from altering or tampering with certain places

But if not, to fix this, unfortunately, is a little more complicated and doesn't always go smoothly. You can start by trying to go into the applications, into the windows defender application, and restore/terminate the WD - restart after

However, the best thing you could do, and which would solve practically all your OS problems, is to reinstall the OS from scratch (from a flash drive and not from the software or options that the OS offers). This would solve any kind of corruption or problem you have now or have had in the past. It would also clean up most of the pre-installed programs (although unfortunately the OS will still come with bloatware in the HOME and PRO versions - but better than nothing).

This is what I would recommend, but of course first do your own research on how to install an OS correctly, back up your personal files to an external disk (be it music, documents, images, browser bookmarks, etc... basically what doesn't exist anywhere else and is yours). Programs and games that come from the internet don't need to be backed up because you can download them again. A fresh start might be a good thing for your computer to clean out the junk that has accumulated over time and restore various settings to default. You might also get some of that “initial performance” back.

Ive tried reinstalling my graphics drivers multiple times and it hasnt helped
I searched around a bit and found that Master EQ can cause freezes/crashes on Realtek audio chipsets, so I disabling it and it seemed to work for a while, but i just got a crash so apparently it doesnt

Well... its an old integrated gpu that intel has long since stopped supporting, so there arent any new drivers
I did try searching for older drivers to see if those might fix the issue, but it seems like intel has overhauled their website, and the drivers that used to be available a year or two ago arent anymore. I could only find two of them, both of which are incompatible with my system. The only way i can get a compatible driver is through windows update :/

It's likely that the PC will be able to start the game and stay for a while, but while the game is open filling up/using RAM and the CPU/GPU, at a certain point the PC has no more RAM or "processing power" to continue running the game. So when it reaches its limit, the game freezes and stops responding.

You can try to check if this is true by keeping the task manager active and see what happens while you have the game running. See if the graphics are maximized or something because if they are, then its proving what I'm saying above, especially the RAM or VRAM (GPU memory)

Been getting an issue where cave generation on industrial sabotage appears to have solid floors but cause noclipping issues when the floor generates above or near the caretaker platform. yeah that's just some desync. Basically your game doesn't register the info that the ground here is missing, while it's perfectly here for the host, causing both version of the game to conflict. It's usually caused by old/slow hardware or bad internect connection, more rarely by mods or mismatching game version.

my game keeps randomly hitching & lagging and i have no clue why. I've disabled DX12 and even used the "optimze" option in GeForce, but it keeps randomly hitching. Crashed after i disabled DX12, and now it's frozen in the settings menu.

I haven't had this happen before a couple days ago (posted about it then too). Got a 5600X and 3060 Ti with 32 GB of DDR4x3200 RAM.

Modern GPUs have a low idle power consumption, so the IGP isn't needed. Depending on your mainboard, you can disable the IGP in the BIOS/UEFI settings as well.

just started getting this this morning. sfc /scannow didnt find any integrity violations, just restarted, verified file integrity, and reinstalled but crashes to this right after the ghost ship games splash screen. the last thing i remember doing differently is enabling fidelityFX last night. hardware hasnt changed. using a gtx 660. could there be values in GameUserSettings.ini to revert this to see if fidelityfx is causing it?

ok nvm got it to work. to fix EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION i launched in safe mode and it turned off the upscaling settings. re-launched into the normal option and it works fine. dunno if this can be easily reproduced but fidelityfx seemed to cause this but idk

Seriously 1/3 missions in this mode I get stuck in the pipe. Please I really hope this gets fixed cause it's 30 minutes games every time wasted. As a driller main, I love this mode, riding the pipes is so much fun, but I just can't do it anymore, I get stuck way too frequently for it to be enjoyable.

I wouldn't expect this is a general bug, but perhaps it's known. I've had ~3 cargo crates in a row now tell me that I've had all of the weapon frameworks, but I'm missing 14 of them - for example I'm missing some Neon Band frameworks for a bunch of guns.

Also missing Fourth Relic for the Smart Rifle, so it's not limited to just Neon Band either.

Cant seem to translate my saved data over from ps4 to ps5.
Checking on the ps4 version on my ps5 the save files are there but all say level 1, no time played. Have tried reinstalling. Tried copying over to new save slot. Nothing. I’m scared to try stuff in case I lose my hundreds of hours of play time.
