I've only beaten him on the first difficulty so far. I think he needs to have his HP and attack speed reduced a bit. I suffered for two months, but I was able to win. I think the main problem is the non-regenerating shield.

Rogue Core also doesn't support solo mode as much

The way it scales everything based on player count is different, it does not lower everything as much

Problem with checking SteamDB is that it doesn't tell you the amount of players who own the game, only those that logged on and were playing at a certain point. Add timezones and the fact that people could easily be different at each point. The 600 players claim isn't true

In DRG, co-op gameplay is immediate and short-term. A platform here, a zipline there. There is no real meaningful co-op in the longterm

Rogue Core is very much the opposite. There isn't really any meaningful immediate and short-term co-op gameplay, but it focuses on long-term co-op instead. You're never placing down platform bridges, or putting up a zipline to hang in the air.

Im so happy melee is fun and useful now

Even in its base format with zero upgrades, its a great source of damage, and kills the VERY common Corespawn Creeper in 2-3 shots

It would have been so easy to have slicer be The Melee Class, and make building into melee pointless for anyone else

But its not, its super viable for everyone

And everyone has multiple explicit options to build into it

I still hope we can swap out our pickaxe for a "proper" melee weapon, even if its just cosmetic

Melee in RC is already much better that in DRG. First of all, the swinging rate is more increased allowing you to have higher DPS. Second you have chip enhancements of melee damage, power attack damage and power attack cooldown. Which make it even more viable. Third, thorns upgrades can be acquired in raid.

Yes your save will have been reset due to the new update, there are ways to recover your old progress, but you may run into other issues from doing that (such as not being able to earn more than 100 chips if you already reached that amount)
