when creating a character, the first selection screen is the mode. journey, classic, hard, and master. journey is basically minecraft creative mode. so it would be unfair for journey characters to play on non journey worlds so make a new character and switch it to a different mode

its terrible ive lost so many loved characters from that it happens because your device cant run the vanity of the character and has to delete them to save the device

So i've started a new game, found a godly spear, made a cactus armor, have alot of platinum ingots but not enough to make an armor set (so i only built a platinum pickaxe and platinum sword), farmed ice blocks for Frostburn Arrows, built 3 npc houses (merchant, Jeff, and Jim Mulligan), got 5 heart crystals unused yet, and finally i have alot of junk like potions and food and mushrooms and Flutes and bombs.

It's my first playthrough and I'm playing with one friend (who's also new) on expert mode mediumcore difficulty, can anyone sort of describe how we can avoid gear loss constantly on hardmode since we're about to kill the WoF? I've tried fighting hardmode mobs with the help of a different friend who is maxed just to get a notice of the mob stats and I'm not enjoying it so far.
