1. Do not be rude or disrespectful towards others, and avoid behavior that can be perceived as such. This includes using racist, homophobic, hateful, or otherwise bigoted speech.
• Using words such as "gay" in a derogatory manner or using any variations of slurs or alluding to them, even in a joking manner is also prohibited.
• Do not bait, provoke, threaten, harass, witch hunt, introduce drama, or reveal personal information.

2. Be respectful and mature towards other users and their boundaries when discussing controversial or sensitive topics (such as politics, religion, identity, or vulnerability). These discussions can make others feel uncomfortable or unwelcome if not approached with care.
• Topics that are inherently bigoted, hateful, or intolerant in nature are not welcome on this server.

3. Community members should strive for a certain level of quality in their messages. Each channel has a topic that should be followed.
• Single word/letter/emoji messages, begging, spam, repeated message formatting, excessive media dumping, encouraging rule breaking, and low-effort messages are discouraged.
• Do not attempt to bypass the filter or repeatedly trigger the filter.
• Spoilers should be labeled appropriately using Discord’s built-in formatting, sufficiently disclosing what topic is being covered. Repeated spoiler tag usage unrelated to its intended purpose is not allowed.
• Do not engage or join users who are breaking rules. If someone is breaking the rules, it does not allow others to do so, please report this behavior instead, by following [these instructions](#how-to-report message).

4. Do not request, post, or disclose piracy information, links, or intent. Follow the guidelines from the Terraria Community Forums regarding piracy and mods, which specifically prohibits the modding/hacking of the console and mobile versions of Terraria. Discussions related to these topics are also not allowed.

5. NSFW, sexually suggestive, disturbing, explicit, and illegal content and discussions are prohibited on this server. Do not post content which references restricted substances or illegal/dangerous activities.

6. Please limit and be reasonable with the promotion/solicitation of content. Discord server advertisements are never allowed, including indirect advertising and via DMs. Do not excessively promote/solicit content on the server, do not beg for exposure/subscribers/views/free stuff, and keep it relevant to the channel you're posting it in!

7. For moderation purposes, all content, messages, and voice chat interactions on this server are to be in English, with exceptions for very common words or phrases at Moderator discretion. Terraria Discord servers for other languages can be found in the [Community-Portal](#community-portal message) channel.

8. Names and media must not interfere with expected Discord formatting or behavior.
• Usernames and nicknames which cause confusion/disruption or hinder moderation are prohibited, including impersonating others or pretending to be an official, bot, or Staff member.
• Media that behaves differently when opened in a browser, media that crashes Discord clients, and any other media that causes non-standard behavior are prohibited.

9. Do not ping Officials or Community Influencers. Pinging other users in a disruptive manner is also not allowed. Additionally, if someone has asked not to be pinged, do not ping them.
• Suggestions for the game and bug reports should be posted on the official Terraria Community Forums.

10. Having multiple or alternate accounts is not allowed. If for any reason you need to swap to a different account, message @icy sparrow explaining why.

Re-Logic Communities are run with a set of values which all members are expected to uphold. Outlined below, these guidelines come above the server rules: even if something does not break the server-specific rules, the post may still be considered to infringe on these values.

MUTUAL RESPECT

• Our Communities approach each interaction and contribution in a manner that appreciates the fact that each of us has our own valid thoughts, feelings, and ideas. There is a difference between disagreement and disrespect. Debate the position, not the person.

MATURITY

• Regardless of age, our Communities strive to treat each other as we would like to be treated ourselves - as adults and as equals.

TRANSPARENCY

• Community members are free to express themselves openly and give constructive criticism and feedback as to how Re-Logic games and Communities may be improved or changed, provided the delivery follows all other guidelines and server rules.

FUN

• Re-Logic Communities should never take themselves too seriously. There should always be space for friendly humor, sarcasm, wit, and silliness, as long as it stays within the rules and guidelines of the community.
