Kind of, kind of not. It's rather accurate, shoots fast and has high base damage, but you completely lose ammo effects, so you should best use it with Cursed Arrows. Also, it has no piercing, so it's best used on the Twins and maybe Prime.
Adam is certainly far more versatile, especially in regards to crowd control with Jester's Arrows.

Expert Mode enemies who steal the player's money will be saved in that area and respawn when the player returns. Their locations and how much money they carry is displayed on the minimap.
Pretty sure there's a small list of exceptions somewhere (aside from NPCs that aren't actively hostile), but I'm not 100% on where that is. I do know that bosses can take your money though.

statue enemies can also pick up gold coins but since they do not drop coins when killed you will not get them back

The enemies pick up most of the coins that they walk/fly over for the first time, and that adds to some extra value that the enemies have. The coin drops are then appropriately determined based on that added value. In this case, 9999 plat coins is 9,999,000,000 (9999 plat coins is 999,900 gold coins is 99,990,000 silver coins is 9,999,000,000 copper coins, which are the base "unit" if you will), which is actually over the int limit (2.147B), which is what is used to keep track of this value. So if you dropped up to 2,147 plat coins, they should be able to pick those up I think?

yeah that's a common thing that happens with new players that they jump in, don't find classic challenging enough then move up to expert, some don't find expert challenging enough so they start on master, creating a new world each time

Means your world is corrupted. You have to go into your games saves, usually in my documents on windows. Remove the world from the saves folder then change the name of the backup of that world to the proper extension
