I find its harder to make something really efficient without making a box tbh because you only have so much crafting range and it's easier if every crafting table is packed in together otherwise you're having to move around a lot, unless you want some kind of village with a theme, that would look a lot nicer imo

I remember needing a crimson key and it not dropping for ages and then getting three jungle keys lol. The blue water candle from the dungeon increases spawn rates, so does battle potions and blood moons. So does 140 jungle grass blocks or lizard bricks.

Enemies can only spawn within a certain distance from you so knowing this you can remove areas where they could spawn and be stuck like in little pockets

I think it's like 50 vertical and 90 horizontal but you can double check the wiki for that, you kinda want to make a big rectangle hole with a horizontal line through the middle of it with some lava underneath and use the candle etc to maximize spawn efficiency

Heart statues drop hearts, star statues drop mana stars. Both are useful in boss fights. Bomb statues drop bombs that you can pick up etc
