If mage fish for crystal serpent, if ranged farm hallow mimic for stormbow. Melee can get that shadow flame or whatever the name is from hardmode goblin army invasion. Summoner farm for the spider summon tho highly doubt u can kill mech bosses with that.

Summoners can also use Abigail's Flower, as her damage, scaling and speed increase drastically in Hardmode when used with Spider armor and the Firecracker. You could use it for Queen Slime or Dreadnautilus for other summons, or for Destroyer as an alternative to Sanguine Staff.

Spider staff itself is pretty good but its very limited in areas without walls or vs flying enemies

I'm pretty sure it drops from fire imps in the underworld. A tip for finding the shimmer is starting from near the ocean towards the jungle, use an item like the firecracker to look for large masses of stone (no gaps, only stone), dig in that direction, if the stone is contaminated with dirt (or something other than stone), that is not likely your aether biome. It can take a while to find it, and I'd reccomend getting a full set of mining gear + a bone pickaxe to swiften the process (tiger climbing gear can also prove helpful)

I have a tipper : corrupted biomes spread in V form, making that strategy useless.

Just put a bunch of sunflowers at the end of each corrupted biomes so they won't spread further and it's not time consuming. You can easily clean the mess after defeating one mech boss.

Actually let me outrun him when going upwards funny enough, the issue was coming back down

I rather try to beat 1 billion hp eoc that one shot when you touch it tbh (much easier to do in theory bec of much predictable attack pattern)

i have never seen a playthrough with such luck though:
-Rod of Discord in under 10 Chaos Elementals
-Bottomless Honey Bucket in 4 Angler Quests
-getting rare drops like Bone Feather, Wisp in a Bottle in the first few kills

and also the first time i've seen a death by not being able to recall because of Cursed and being unable to use Magic Mirror/Recall Potions

it's also an Expert Mode playthrough as a first time playthrough

which made things interesting

generally been watching quite a few blind playthroughs lately, and noticed a few patterns:
-Destroyer tends to be the first mech killed (despite being shocked at its health pool initially)
-Wall of Flesh is the part that needs help to figure out how to summon, everything else is figured out not too badly, even Deerclops
-background walls are not explained very well by the guide
-jesus christ we need the Mobile Tutorial world on PC
-Melee and Ranger weapons are the most common weapons used
-the Guide doesn't specify Mythril Anvil OR Orichalcum Anvil/Adamantite Forge OR Titanium Forge, which causes confusion if the other one doesn't generate
-reforges are often forgotten as a thing despite learning about it prior (one of them fought Moon Lord with an unreforged Vortex Beater)
-chat is too backseaty, and often causes the streamer to crash out
-trying to pick up Bottled Water by right clicking instead of crafting
-Miner's Helmet is the ultimate noob trap (used until Post-Mech usually)
-Flails are commonly used, due to them seeing the high base damage

For some reason I think it's the easiest?

it's easily manageable once you figure out that the contact damage is the most dangerous part, and just manage the amount of probes you generate
