You'd know if you did activities as long as me, but one thing is to keep it focused and not blurry. Also make it quite big(like 400x400pixels at minimal)
Trust me, small images DO NOT WORK WELL with phones, they become EVEN more blurry.

Knowing the "meta" has helped me win alot ofc
(most people dont focus on small details when voting, that just doesnt work too often)
