It does! We have something you can set called a default playlist, this will play whenever there's nothing in the queue after a short delay when the bot joins. You can see this in action with our genre voice channels here 🙏

To set a default playlist, use /settings and you can import any Spotify playlist or use an existing Rythm playlist

Lag could be due to a number of reasons, the most common one is connection issues. You may find more success if you swap your voice channels into a US based region override if they aren't already.

However, we're looking into the new minor stuttering issues we've been seeing pop up very recently. We'll make some more optimizations and ensure Rythm has enough resources to play smoothly!

Rythm strictly licenses all its music directly now meaning it can only be used to play songs from distributors we're currently partnered with.
There is no way to add/play music that is not currently on our platform through Rythm without going through a distributor first.
