Likely so, you can import playlists of tracks and play those instead, but videos that are hour long like that don't have a good way for us to find out what specific tracks are trying to be played to match them to our internal library of licensed music

if you have a playlist on spotify you use often, you can try to import that for use though!

If you mean for this server, we typically only hand out DJ roles to people who are super active & use the VCs a lot since the only thing it really grants are just more controls over the bots in the vc. For other servers it's up to the server owner, they could grant it to anyone, it could be an activity reward, it could also be something you purchase. Totally up to each server

Howdy! You'll need to make sure you've created a role named "DJ" in your server first. Alternatively, you can set an existing role in your server (including the @everyone role to give everyone perms) as your DJ role using /settings

You should be able to sync them by having the web app open & playing a song through the bot. This will sync them! If you don't see it sync after playing a song through the bot, you may need to leave and rejoin the voice channel

Well as per information I have Rythm team is investing a lot in getting licence to stream songs on their platform.... This might be risky for your service as it's something which might trouble you. To fix it I would recommend to use the method which Spotify and YouTube use i.e. those services load songs in chunks from there database instead of just load whole song from the database to network.
I was literally able to download songs in .opus format.

If you're looking to restrict access to users, you can enable the DJ Only setting in /settings to make it so only users with DJ permissions can add music to the queue. To give a user DJ permissions, create a role named "DJ" and then assign that role to them! Hope that helps 🙏

Unfortunately this is a decently hard issue to diagnose because it's pretty vague and because it's typically an issue on the client end if only being experienced by one person - which means there's something in particular on your setup that's causing this and we'd have to find out what.

Yup! You can add any of the bots to your server and set them up with their respective /settings commands. The "Default Playlist" setting will set a playlist to play when the bot has nothing in its queue, which will make it function like a radio that automatically plays a set playlist

This can happen if you're trying to like a track that hasn't been fully ingested into Rythm quite yet but has playable audio available. A quick way to check if this is the case is doing /nowplaying and seeing if the song has a default Rythm logo as the song art, as that means we're missing metadata for the track & so it's not ingested quite yet

Howdy! Premium isn't required to import playlists on Rythm. Are you not able to find the playlist you imported on your profile when you use the web app? If you are able to find it, you should be able to select it and then copy the URL while you're looking at the playlist. You can use that URL in the /play command to play that playlist!

Ahhh I see, the likely issue here is that the music isn't actually available on Rythm. Rythm is a licensed service so we don't rip track audio, instead we match tracks to our licensed library and play the audio from our actual library

Howdy! This means that Rythm lacks Discord permissions to perform one of its actions. Make sure it has a role that has the permissions it needs on it! Typically Rythm will tell you what it's missing, a common one is the Embed Links permission. Hiya! I am new to this app but I have it in my discord. I love the app so far, but I have a quesiton about how to do something.

Rythm joins my server and plays music just fine, however once the last person disconnects from the discord channel, Rythm stays. Some days Rythm is playing in the channel for 24+ hours. I have to manually "disconnect" it from the voice channel to get it to stop.

My question I'm trying to figure out is; is there a way to get Rythm to leave the voice channel after the last user disconnects from that voice channel? And if that is possible, how would I configure it to do that?

Howdy! By default Rythm has the "Always Playing" option enabled in its /settings. This means it'll stay in the voice channel and wait for more things to play even if no one is in the voice channel. If you disable this, Rythm will instead automatically disconnect after a period of nothing being put into the queue. That should give you what you're looking for!

Some music will be lower quality depending on the quality of the recordings we have available. We always try to queue up the highest quality we have, but if that isn't available we fallback to a lesser quality audio track

When a playlist is queued it should play anything in the queue back to back. If you want it to always play that playlist when there's nothing in the queue (like the genre channels we have here) then you can set that playlist to be the Default Playlist in /settings!

If /leave isn't working for some reason, try manually disconnecting it. Rythm by default has the Always Playing setting enabled which means it'll stay in the voice channel 24/7 and wait for music to be queued (or queue up more automatically via autoplay). You can disable this in /settings if you want it to leave automatically!
