An important thing to remember about Knowledge Transfer is it is not like a power pass. The only Knowledge Transfer option that functions similarly is the North Vern one, all of the rest are simply story skips and that is it. They do not give levels, gear, or anything other than that. North Vern is the only one that gives gear with 500 ilvl and makes the character level 50.

I will typically never tell people how to spend their own money.

However I will say either option means you still have to progress up to current content and manually get your Relic gear set, its just a matter of how much progression. North Vern is more, obviously, and Punika would be less.

Log onto the level 10 character and just get far enough along where you unlock your Songs (basically like 2 or 3 quests into Prideholme) and see if it will work by actually being on the character

Its good, its the gender swap variant of the Scrapper so its also a bruiser but it is a head attack class as opposed to a back attack class like Scrapper.

what is being used to track wandering merchants and cards nowadays? doesnt seem like anyone uses Lost Merchants anymore and I'm still missing Weis and some other cards from not playing for so long

Mostly just ingame. Merchants now appear on the world map and you can preview what their stock is from just mousing over their icon. Some Discords may still ping if a card is up but I am not 100% sure on that.

No, but the Merchants reset on a schedule and it shows the timer for when they will reset so you can just keep an eye on it

Playing manually? A fairly large number of hours honestly. Just manually doing the story is about 1 to 2 hours each and you'd need to do, from the point that North Vern KT puts you at, Rohendel > Yorn > Feiton > Punika > South Vern > Elgacia. You do need to hone between several of the different continents. Punika is the start of T3 and then Elgacia requires 1460 ilvl.

1580 is an entirely different thing. The next thing after Elgacia is Voldis which requires 1520 to do so you'd need to have done Legion Raids because you need Ancient gear from Brelshaza, and before that Relic gear from Valtan and Vykas.

If this is an alt you're looking to build, I assume you've already used the current progression events on your main, correct?

Its a ticket item that goes into your inventory, you have to consume/use the ticket to apply it to your account and then you can select a character at character selection to use it on and it will boost that character up to level 50 and give gear appropriate with the kind of pass that was used. In the case of the free Elgecia Power Pass that I am talking about it gave 1460 ilvl Relic gear.

The servers have recently merged. This has moved around some items, but they are not lost.
Step 1. Reclaim your characters from the Universal Storage on the character select screen.
Step 2. Login and claim your cards on the Universal Storage tab on the card menu using ALT+C.
Step 3. Reclaim your roster storage by using ESC and opening Universal Storage.
Step 4. Re-equip your cards as they were reset and must be re-equipped.

You are all good to go!

The whole gameplay loop is only experienced once you get to level 50 and, really, in T3 content which is the content that pass will bring you to.

Would the Powerpass close any tower levels for me? Or will I be able to start everything from the very forst tower level even with Voldis powerpass to 1520?

So I'm slowly getting back into Lost ark as I got time now , but I'm kinda lost (haven't played for a year) and was looking for some advice . So first of all , I see we received an event pass , should I use it on my first character ( lvl 45 Destroyer ) or should I use it on a brand new one ? I was debating about that , also how do you level up alts in general ? Iirc there is something to power lvl them with gold's or something ? But yeah anyway once I choose on which one I use the power pass (destro or new character , I think a breaker if I choose that option) what are the next things to do to get to endgame ,thanks in advance !
