Anyways deep dive is almost entirely Wandering Merchants, you can just sign up for pings on those and get those over time, whether you're actively playing or not.

Playing on older account is almost always better unless you were like item level 500. I started fresh after quitting last year and even though I was only 1475 back then, it took *many *hours to catch up on all the horizontal, cards, etc etc even with jumpstart events and all.

Alternatively if you're playing on-and-off enough, you could just play during some of these Engraving Support events. As Vexicra mentioned, we have at least one more than we know will happen in the near future, along with Path to Thaemine. I'd be surprised if it's the last one we see.

You may want to find a discord server / group, though, if you're trying to circumvent gatekeeping. Personally, I don't think it has been that bad this time around, I feel like it was worse before I quit last year, but it depends on the content.

My reason to not play my old acc is a bit weird = I really hate coming back to something and picking up from where I left, I dont want to play most of the alt characters I had at the time because I wanna try a new class and worst of all = When I came back with the intention of just checking out the game, I was curious about the passes so I just activated them on a random char I dont want to play (I didnt have a clue at the time that I would actually want to start playing again, just turned the game on because of boredom basically) and so now I cannot make use of the pass on a potential new alt I would like to play..

On the other hand, how could I make use of my old roster (mainly 1460, main is 1500) to generate money even after so long, without progressing the roster itself of course..

First point I understand. But tbh your alts from 1 year ago are likely not that important, most of them are probably barely raid tier and it's more about the gold, cards, roster xp, horizontal.

Right now it's easy to blast an alt straight to 1490, so it's not like you'd be losing a lot by ditching the old alts

You essentially labeled out what the different gold sources that you have available. The fact that the account has multiple characters helps A LOT. Yes the ilvl is very low, but doing lifeskills and progressing them all to 1490 makes it so you can join valtan/vykas semi-easily and there's like 4.2k gold per character per week

You won't have anywhere close to that gold income on a new account
