You can press the archive button or they will auto archive themselves after no activity in them, in terms of bumping I will have to double check with Gravvy, I wouldn't see much of a problem with it if people kept to only doing it once every 2hrs but not everyone will follow that.

Keep that somewhere, you'll want it for the advertisement channels later when they open (no eta on when yet as we're dealing with the app process first so the bot doesnt get nuked trying to handle a large load of both at once). But obviously it's pretty soon.

Normally your ticket would save that for you but obviously it's bugged for your ID atm

We don't normally do this, the process is if the bot is overloaded (because the apps count towards the 500 channel limit whilst they're open, hence why we try to keep a quick turnaround) but for whatever reason your ticket got fucked over so this was an exception. For anyone else being hit with the channel/application cap message. Please bear with us we're working through them asap. At the moment the system has high traffic and each app counts towards the discord channel limit; we are currently amending the bot to DM info to approved/denied users so we can clear apps faster, rather than wait for the user to see the message before it is archived.

Also please check your application ticket towards the top of discord when you have started the process and follow the instructions. Do not just leave it or I will close it after an hour for inactivity. We have too many apps currently using up spots that other users could make use of where you've started the process and then totally ignored the ticket.

The older posts part is the archives, it's posts you want to ignore hence why they're seperated. I had a chat with Gravvy about hiding them completely from normal users view but apparently there's a few technical limitations involved (as the forums feature is quite new) and it wouldn't be very efficient. "Recent posts" are generally what you'll wanna focus on.

Threads move to the old posts section after an hour of inactivity.

Such channels would die if we moderated to be class topics only. We allow lost ark discussions as the class channels have become a community of X class users. If there are any discussions or questions in the class channel, then the relevant class users would discuss it. As long as class topic discussions are not being pushed down by offtopic discussions, its fine. We would be open to change as class channels become more active, but thats not the case right now.

We can't really force users to answer questions, we just encourage it. There are many factors for why you may not have received an appropriate answer. With a community this large, we have to run it differently from prelaunch. The class channels are subcommunities of players that play that class in one place.

You are asking for alternative resources that the current people online in that channel may not be aware of, that could be a possiblity too.

Did you also watch saint's video pinned in that channel? That is one i've heard a lot about from sorcs

I'm not really sure how else I could help you here. You could search up for reflux guides on google/youtube and skim through to see what else is out there. The guides taht the users in sorc chat have agreed on are already pinned

It's not odd, the JP players we support are almost all Western US players. The same with our KR and RU support. And even then they are legacy regions from pre western release. The same way we will not have support for the upcoming China/Taiwan release either because it is unlikely many western players would start there. There's a large difference between us supporting largely English speaking players that happen to be on a foreign region, than predominantly non-English main language players on an English-speaking server, we don't have the resources for it and we're already nearly at channel cap.

Therefore it makes more sense for us to redirect people to the community directory or the Brazilian/PT server where they're better equipped to handle SA players.

That gets pitched a lot, it's a busy region and we don't have SA mods. We can make English a rule all we want but trying to enforce it in a region that usually doesn't use English as a main language, it'd still take up significant resources in a channel that would be based on a role most of our moderators wouldn't have assigned.
