Oh yes! It's very useful.
I also use DeepL when I want to translate my message to another language.

It is a shame that most of the mods on Nexus are in English. I didn't think of that.

I also used it until they nerfed it with subscriptions and made it less comfortable than google trad which I switched back to

For mods, even if it limits the choices (unless you have a generous soul who makes a trad mod (hello French community Baldur's Gate 3)), I can at least find unofficial paths and mods that correct/change gameplay mechanics without there being English text in a French game, or even content that adds objects/appearances/etc but which remains anecdotal and don't alter the story and the narration.

Geez, I definitely didn't think of that at all. I never realized the struggle.
I use a lot of mods for Skyrim, and I should be quite glad that it's all in English. :x

Sometimes it's annoying because I can find super cool things on paper but which are unusable in game because they are too complex to use if you don't understand the explanations at all (especially the skills, the effects of this thing on this thing, etc. ) because it's in a language that you don't have the talent or time to learn and master. But eventually, we know what to watch and take, we have our cocktails and showtime.

Only corrective mods, appearances (like hair) of outfits and weapons, two-three translated classes (the Magnus class from pathfinder and the White and Red Mage from FFXIV - they have been well adapted to the gameplay and lore of the game) and the group increased to have more than three companions with you (they are all wonderful in their own way and all important in the story, it's a waste to have to leave some at the camp)

I have never had any technical problems so far, the companions chat with each other and interact in the dialogues/cutscenes like in vanilla.

Afterwards, it is at the combat level that the gameplay really changes and finds itself unbalanced because if you play a personalized character or Dark-Urge with the Origin companions, you end up with 7 fighters instead of 4, and the mods can go much further, so no use that if you want to focus on the story to the detriment of the combat or in tactician mode, or even Honor Mode from now on.
