What is the best weapon at CQC? ARs seem to beat my smgs at close quarters blasting. Also which one is better? ARs are longer range but have less stability and lower fire rate this less suppressing fire ability but SMGs have more stability, more fire rate but at the cost of less range.

Also is the extended quick draw mag worth it for extra 15% fire rate?

Try both and see what works right for you. Both are effective in their own ways. I personally prefer stronger guns like the AUG because I am not always very accurate.😅

the aug will be far better to adjust to than the beryl. i would focus on improving with that gun. once you get the hang of it, the try something else. i would recommend the Compensator and the Vertical Grip and Red Dot just to start as it will help you better control the recoil. as you get used to it, drop the vert grip for a half grip and get used to that. once you’re comfortable, do the same thing with the Beryl

what i’ve learned with pubg is the meta weapons don’t equate to a kill. there’s people shooting the Beryl that cant hit the broadside of a barn. all that power is useless if you can’t connect shots.

Play training mode and practice reflexes and ears. If you click on the map in the training mode, there will be a lot of options at the left. Select the sound/aim lab (something like that) and practice recoil, reflexes and ears innit. Practice until you can exactly pin point where the sound is coming from in one slide of your mouse.

You're gonna feel sexy doing that once you learn it.

Oh, and you could try Dolby Access as your sound engine. It has a 7 day free trial. I find it very good for pin pointing sounds. Better than dtsx

• Practice good communication: Call out the location of enemies (orally, or with a ping marker using F3 or middle click) so teammates can spot the enemies more quickly and bring supporting fire to bear. Ping empty slots on your weapons (in inventory, mouse over and ping the slot) to tell your teammates what attachments you need, and ping ground loot to mark the loot for your teammates. Remember to clear old markers to remove distracting ping clutter.

• Spectate to observe other players when you are defeated in a match. Seeing how others play the game can help you discover good strategies to use - and mistakes to avoid.

  • Note: Normally the game will not spectate a bot, so if a bot killed you, usually the game will choose another nearby human player to spectate rather than the bot.

PUBG Tips for Snipers:

• When firing a sniper rifle while aiming down sights (ADS), you can hold the left mouse button to remain in scoped / ADS view; this lets you watch your bullet and see its impact location. The bolt cycling animation will start once you release the trigger, taking you temporarily out of ADS. (If you just click-and-release the LMB to fire, the chambering animation happens immediately, which prepares the next shot more quickly but which also makes it impossible to see exactly where your shot goes.)

• The 2x, 3x, and 4x scopes have fixed zeroing at 100 meters, meaning that at that distance (with some variance depending on the weapon), a bullet should hit right about where the center dot of the reticle is in ADS view. Significantly farther targets require aiming above the desired target point to compensate for bullet drop. Significantly closer targets require aiming a bit below the target point to compensate for the scope being physically above the weapon's barrel. (In other words, at close range, the bullet will strike a bit below the aim point because you're looking down the scope, not down the barrel.)

• The 6x, 8x, and 15x scopes all have adjustable zeroing, which means that you can use the PGUP and PGDN buttons to change the zeroing distance in 100-meter increments. When I play it, I use vert grip, heavy stock, comp. Ideally canted sight with 2x or 3x. Then the other slot is free for a medical bag, panzer, or whatever.

Using emt gear on yourself, it used to be walking normal pace while using bandages to full but I think they took that away and made boosts give more.

Hey guys, I played a bit of PUBG when it first launched on console years ago but it's been forever since I played. I'm looking for something to fill the gap until Delta Force and Fragpunk get here, and I have a few questions about the state of the game. Firstly, I've seen conflicting answers, but does this game run at 120FPS on Xbox Series X? Secondly, how difficult is it for new players to get into this game. I've been playing FPS games and shooters in general for decades, and as far as BR's go I put like 5 years into Apex before I got bored of the game. I'm just wondering if this game is easy to pick up and play, or how much of a struggle it will be to learn. Thank you.

personal experience, it was not that hard BECAUSE i played pubg mobile for about 4 years, but if you havent played that either, it can be a little hard knowing how everything works, its pretty basic overall, its a little harder than other shooters considering other shooters have a specific recoild pattern for each gun but in this game the recoil is randomized so good luck with that, id say the skill gap is decently big

There’s still no aim assist so training grounds can help you figure out settings for recoil control. Training grounds just has the basics of everything so if you’re tryin to adjust audio for enemies there’s an audio arena that plays shots at different distances and all around you. Can’t remember how to parachute? There’s parachuting in training.

PUBG Tips, part 1:

Use the Training Grounds!

• Practice recoil control with various weapons and attachments while aiming and shooting at a spot on a wall; this will also let you see the bullet impact points

• Practice dropping from the plane and controlling the parachute to land where you want to

• Gain experience with cooking grenades and throwing them accurately

• Use the target ranges to understand and adjust for bullet drop at different ranges with different weapons, to practice with various scopes and the zeroing feature of some scopes and iron sights, and to get better at hitting moving targets

I would say these are some pretty basic rules to this game,

• No matter what try to keep at least one medical device of some form on you at all times.

-this is a really huge one I know the goal is to win but DONT forget about your team mates unless you absolutely have to ! Revive them!! pick them up!! Help them out provide an extra band aid, I can’t tell you how many team players walked right over my body then past a revival station.

-Don’t forget about your body armour, switch it out after gun fights, it’s health fades upon bullet impact) helmet vest)

-in my experience most 7.62 weapons do more damage but have more kick then 5.56 but I get way more rounds on target due to the reduced recoil of 5.56 so to me it’s worth it I sacrifice some damage for greater accuracy
