Backend stability improvements have been implemented alongside maintenance, without downtime.

A tentative bug fix has also been applied to resolve an issue where in squads, a teammate would sometimes not be visible on the UI.

From October 6-12, we will be testing out a variety of server providers and locations in NA in order to select the best possible option.

Network conditions, server stability and performance are all important factors that we are considering and measuring when running these tests.

Changes to the NA server will also be applied to console should the tests go well.

An update on our recent anti-cheat efforts.

PUBG is working to increase its anti-cheat efforts. As such, our anti-cheat team is currently experimenting with a new method of detecting and banning cheaters, specifically related to things such as recoil control and other abnormal gameplay patterns.

We are currently in a test period and to make this new initiative successful, we need your help.

If you are a player who has been affected by the recent ban wave and believe this to be an error, we encourage you to submit a ban appeal ticket through our support portal.

[Test Server] We have deployed a small update on the test server to resolve an issue which was preventing some players from using the Driver Shooter mechanic.

A second bug fix was also applied to resolve a killfeed notification issue related to team kills.

Tentative fix for EU matchmaking times during peak hours

We're aware that during peak-times EU players have recently experienced longer than expected matchmaking times.

After investigating, we discovered a matchmaking bug and have deployed a tentative fix to resolve this issue.

We will continue monitoring the situation.

We have amended a mistake in the patch notes which incorrectly listed Haven TPP as an available matchmaking queue for North America and South America.

We have bumped up the overall loot on Haven by 20% and increased the relative amount of helmets, vests and backpacks in the loot pool.

Level 2 gear specifically has also been increased, and we've scattered some more crossbow quivers into the loot pool.

Additionally, we've deployed a small bug fix related to presets, which was preventing the selected weapon skin from being applied to all presets.
