• Use the sound trainer to get better at using the sounds of enemy gunfire to quickly and accurately locate enemies

• Practice dropping from the plane and controlling the parachute to land where you want to

• Gain experience with cooking grenades and throwing them accurately

• Use the target ranges to understand and adjust for bullet drop at different ranges with different weapons, to practice with various scopes and the zeroing feature of some scopes and iron sights, and to get better at hitting moving targets

PUBG Tips for Snipers:

• When firing a sniper rifle while aiming down sights (ADS), you can hold the left mouse button to remain in scoped / ADS view; this lets you watch your bullet and see its impact location. The bolt cycling animation will start once you release the trigger, taking you temporarily out of ADS. (If you just click-and-release the LMB to fire, the chambering animation happens immediately, which prepares the next shot more quickly but which also makes it impossible to see exactly where your shot goes.)

• The 2x, 3x, and 4x scopes have fixed zeroing at 100 meters, meaning that at that distance (with some variance depending on the weapon), a bullet should hit right about where the center dot of the reticle is in ADS view. Significantly farther targets require aiming above the desired target point to compensate for bullet drop. Significantly closer targets require aiming a bit below the target point to compensate for the scope being physically above the weapon's barrel. (In other words, at close range, the bullet will strike a bit below the aim point because you're looking down the scope, not down the barrel.)

• The 6x, 8x, and 15x scopes all have adjustable zeroing, which means that you can use the PGUP and PGDN buttons to change the zeroing distance in 100-meter increments. (The small squares on the map and mini-map are each 100 meters across; the large squares are a kilometer across - though bullets in PUBG will simply disappear a few meters shy of reaching 1000 meters.)

Training grounds for recoil, tdm for testing the settings you got in training grounds, normal for figuring out the survival part of the game. No matter what anyone says it’s about living until the end. Last person standing. Play it how you want and you’ll figure out what ways work for you and what doesn’t. Squads may work, or they could fail and you’ll want a duo partner or solos. It’s a slow grind to figure your way around but you’ll get it. Most of us here learned without anything just played and failed until we didn’t fail anymore.

Use the Training Grounds!

• Practice recoil control with various weapons and attachments while aiming and shooting at a spot on a wall; this will also let you see the bullet impact points

As what I remember no but prove me wrong but you need to add everything together if you wanna be good at the game for example if you struggle to control recoil get into training and shoot some walls after that try and kill some people in normals (tracking is key) after you are decent you can try some hotdrops to learn how to pick up weapons fast and fight people in high tense situations + watching eSports improves you as well with rotations and positioning

I just keep it on canted, and then if I have a farther target, I switch to the regular scope. Kind of like keeping the close-range weapon at the ready, and switching to DMR/SR only if I spot a far target.

But I guess you can pick any keybind that's quick for you.

Straight up my opinion but vert or thumb for beryl and for aug best is probably half grip then angled

cus for the aug you want less horizontal recoil

and muzzle breaks are helpful on aug

same with beryl

If you can't find muzzle break then a comp will do

if you’re not good at recoil control yet, then give the Ace a try. Compensator or Muzzlebrake/verticle or half grip/ extended mag/heavy stock/red dot

or you can try the SMGs. specifically the MP5. its very easy to control and manage as you get used to the recoil patterns of the game.

use the same build as the ace for the mp5 minus the muzzle

Yeah that's kinda why I'm curious about ranked. I've played tf2 compedativly and they handle the rng bullet spread by maxing it fixed, didnt know if pubg had tweaks to lesson some rng.

Ranked doesn’t have most items from normal mode. Though they kinda slowly (take years) add some items that increase the RNG and hand holding to ranked tbh.

I don’t play ranked, the two I tagged play it way more than I have ever touched it.
