How exactly is it not working for you? Can you not hear other players? Can they not hear you? Are you getting any error messages in the chat? Is it not working always or does it happen randomly?

Hiho, what does near a boarder means ? There is a zone called "can´t prevent form decay to close to boarder" and it will be shown when you select a blueprint to place. Even Bsups//Bunker-Supplies want help and you have a rapid decay too. I hope this brings light. You can only use Bmats to restore the HP. You have to consider this into your planning "Happy building "

Hey, im suddenly having game crashes, a switch between a pure freeze, and a freeze-blackscreen-computer restart

Just got back into the game after a long break and at first it ran fine, my pc can easily handle it, then it started crashing, sometimes immediately after spawning and others 10 minutes into the game.

Ive messed with all the graphic settings, and reinstalled the game, and cant think of anything, even after reading some forums.

I keep getting disconnected over and over from the game. I've tried everything mentioned in the #technical-read-first⚠ suggestions, and nothing seems to work. I also often can't connect to voice chat, or lose connection to the VOIP server after ~5 minutes of it being on (error 8 6-0). Sometimes I can reconnect to it, others it wont work (errors 5 or 7).

Interestingly, while the VOIP problem is a constant, I am more likely to not disconnect at ungodly hours of the morning (2-6 am sweet spot), leading me to think it's my ISP screwing me over, but can't be sure.

Any suggestions on what I can try? This issue has been persistent over the past six months, and I'm out of ideas.

EDIT: I apparently have SIP ALG enabled, but it's on the side of the ISP. I can't disable it, and their technicians don't even know what it is. They won't disable it.

Simplest fixes for voice chat related issues are to attempt to reconnect to the voice server (Go to options, Voice, Reconnect on the bottom or press the 'U' key twice by default). The other option is to try and restart the game. Sadly, that's my best and only known fixes so far

I have occasional issues loading some particular websites that are heavy on images (instagram for instance), but beyond that, browsing the internet has always been relatively smooth.

Two things that come to mind, however, is that, as you mentioned, I do get occasional big lag spikes that jump over 1500 ms. These usually last for about a second, but they immediately disconnect me from Discord voice chat, and I'm stuck reconnecting for ~10 seconds afterwards.

However, that has never caused issues with any other game but Foxhole. I regularly play World of Warships, CS:GO, and M&B Warband multiplayer, and none of these games ever gave me connection problems, aside from perhaps occasional lag teleporting in WoWS.

Verify your game's integrity by right clicking the game in Steam's Library menu, going to Properties, click Local Files and then click "Verify Integrity of game files..."

If that checks out and it still won't boot, then try uninstalling the game, and reinstalling it.

Anyone could help me? So, since yesterday my game stop working due a bad connection with my audio (headphone). I alreay verify the files and reinstall the game, but nothing changes. I already tested with other games (dark souls 3) and seems normal, just the foxhole doesnt working properly. When I start up the game, the discord channel dies and the fps drop from 60 to 1 and crashes. Anyone could save me? 😦

If discord dies then it sounds like the discord overlay is breaking, or RAM is not working right.

Could also be weird setting got saved. Could try finding the player settings data somewhere in appdata or my documents or something and deleting that

I also know historically Bluetooth headsets that do fancy stuff like have volume knobs for different sub channels this game really hates. Specifically Unreal engine hates trying to change audio devices. So if your headset is losing connection the game freaks out

Hello. Since the update I'm having serious stuttering issues. My hardware is not the best (r9 390 & and similar gen processor), but I regularly run more demanding games without issue (mostly war thunder & ffxiv). At first I assumed it was proton-related, since I play on linux, but after fiddling with the settings for a few hours, and installing and reinstalling every amd vulkan driver under the sun, I finally bit the bullet and installed windows 10 on the side, with no visible improvement. It might even be slightly worse. No idea how to fix this, besides waiting for a performance update or just getting a new computer (terrible timing). Any tips?

There is a known performance hit when inside a squad with a lot of members and that member list being open on the GUI. If you tab over to a squad with a single member is that issue resolved or does it persist?

Same question for anyone else who has new unexplained stuttering.

Well, it kind of works... But like, when I test it, the speaker icon appear next to my name for like 2 seconds, then disappears for like 3 seconds, then appears again, and it kind of come and go like that, with no real pattern
So, I can't really test to see if my voice also comes out intermittent like that, but I wanted to ask if it was a known thing or not

Hello

I have a problem that arose after the last update.
For every 4 steps I make, the game freezes for a millisecond and teleports me 1 step back. This happens in the home region, frontline, logi backline... everywhere. When I come to the frontline with a lot of people it becomes heavier (every 2-3 steps). I am guessing it's an FPS issue. I have never had issues like that before. I have heard more people have this issue with this update, has anyone had success in resolving it?

The disconnects are still happening to me.

Not only that, but now every time I disconnect and rejoin, I spawn in Home Region, with all the items in my inventory disappearing entirely. I've lost thousands of Bmats, and dozens of binocs, wrenches, radios and other important things over the course of the last few days.

Im having an issue with an issue "lost connection to the server". I went through pretty much every single step on the technical-read-first apart from unplugging, which I cant do but none of them worked for me. I tried even using http flush and dns flush to no awail. Reinstalling nor verifying didnt work either. I tried joining both as Wardens and Colonials but these didnt work either. Im completely lost on how the issue could be solved.

Edit: Tried connecting from Finland (which doesn't seem to work no clue why) but I used a VPN to tunnel my connection from Germany and now it works. I really hope I wouldnt need a VPN to play as VPNs can get quite laggy.

hello, so I have foxhole on steam and I cant hear anyone vc, when I try my own push to talk it doesn't show me the volume icon above my head, when I check my settings it looks good. do I need to uninstall and restall the game or is their a fix to this?

Like randomheroguy who posted above me, i'm having the exact same issue.

I have tried:

Restarting & updating steam
Restarting my computer
Restarting my Internet
Deleting & Reinstalling Foxhole (Obviously)
Verifying Foxhole files on steam
Repeating all of the above but in one go

When trying to submit a report ticket I'm also recieving errors, which led me to think it might be something else; but the only thing I could think of was my antivirus & firewall, which i've triple checked & is fine. I can't see anything else that may work on suggested fixes on 'foxholegame.com/support'.
I have over 1000 hours logged and this is the first time i've had this issue

Put FPS in settings to 144 (regardless of monitors refresh rate) Foxhole as far as I can tell runs best at max settings it has the classic arma 3 issue of if you fuck with different settings it screws up the CPU/GPU priorities and runs like ass.

Tons of people always complaining about performance running on the lowest settings @limber cape I had a 1050ti ran everything max except medium shadows, but setting the max FPS from 60 to 144 although not as good as the performance could be on legitimate uncapped frames and real fullscreen but its decent.

im gonna restate my issues here in case anyone else feels like helping

in this game and also squad, in-game audio will not smoothly move between channels. if someone to my right is shooting, i will hear shots only on the right headphone speaker. if they're on the left, only through the left headphone. if they're in front or behind, then both speakers and if they move, the audio will "snap" fully to whatever side they're on.

@acoustic drift besides some third party tool to "trap" the mouse on one monitor should be possible. Honestly games need to STOP with this bullshit fake "fullscreen" fullscreen means fullscreen but more and more games are coming out with a "fullscreen" that is just borderless windows essentially and it messes with performance and yea super annoying with multiple monitors.

I know programs that exist although honestly after a long enough time playing and how important your cursor placement is in this game its definitely something you eventually get used to.
