Also it works really bad without SDD, so prob he will need one too.

Hello, I received a bug earlier where if I open up the deployment point, it'll show the map without the diamond icons that will show the spawn points. Also the hexagons never shows up when you're fully zoomed out but it'll show if you zoom in once.

Hello there! I am having voice chat bugs. Usually I get "Voice Chat Error [8] 6-0" and when I reconnect it gives me "Voice Chat Error [2] 2-5046" or other errors that start with "2-5...". I have reconnected, refreshed devices, disabled and enabled voice chat (U), deleted the cache of steam and foxhole, veryfied the integrity of the game files, deleted VivoxCoreLibrary and I added the DNS servers in my windows settings (the thing that is in technical-read-fisrt). I have no clue what to do and its really breaking my game experience

After the 6 minutes of joining an faction you are in that faction and will not be able to switch again until the next war starts.

Hello. Have some issues with FPS drops. I'm paling on 3400G Ryzen with integrated GPU on low settings. Normally have 45-60 FPS. But I know, same problems have guys even with RTX 3080.
The problem - In random game moments (more often at bunker bases with upgrades) GPU frequency drops to 2D regime (from 1400 MHz to 200 MHz) and FPS goes to 10-15 for 10-15 seconds.
I was trying everything, different amd drivers, different win 10 preferences, changing bios preferences (a lot), turning off all antivirus and firewall, max cooler speed, etc... Nothing help. Sometimes helps not stay at same place longer than 5 minutes.

Try using the Proprietary Drivers first. Then slowly downgrade the drivers from most recent to older. I haven't looked, but check the steam discussions for Linux/ubuntu or what ever your flavor is. sometimes with games where is a sweet spot for past versions of the OS and graphic card driver. with steam play, most games work without a hitch. One other issue might be if the game thinks you are cheating so it kicks you out.

If you are a new player and under level 5, you have one free faction unlock which you can access from the faction select screen on the top-right corner. If you are over level 5, or you have already exercised your free faction unlock, then you will need to wait until a new war to pick a new faction.

I have a friend who gets "failed to download player data" every time they launch the game. Support sends a list of 14 things to try that are all unhelpful and obviously not the issue.

I just got the game a day ago, and I'm having a few issues

1. The game takes 20-30 minutes to load between opening it from Steam and getting into the main menu

2. Takes 10 minutes to get into the training-ground thing

3. Simply doesn't let me deploy, after 5 minutes of a load screen it says 'Connection timed out' and takes me back to the main menu

I have:

1. Restarted my computer
2. Checked my antivirus and firewall
3. Made sure my drivers were up to date
4. Verified the game files in steam

And I have to take a chance when opening a game to see if it'll actually manage to load till the main menu screen, half the time it stops responding

My wifi connection is perfectly fine with other applications

And yes I tried everything in #technical-read-first⚠ that was related to the issue except ethernet/

I got into the main menu after only 5 minutes of loading this time

But when I tried to deploy, after about 8 minutes it said 'Connection to host lost'

Which suggests a wifi issue or an issue of assets not loading fast enough in my computer

Likely the latter

I tested my wifi online and it shows an upload speed of 15.6 Mbps, a ping of 6ms, and a download speed of 14.69 Mbps

So my conclusion, with my limited knowledge of how computers work, is that the client computer(my computer) has to load all the assets in the targeted deploy region, then send back a message to the host(the server) that the assets are loaded

However, with my trash laptop, the assets don't load locally in time, and the confirming message is never sent, leading to the connection being cut('Connection to host lost')

And as I finish this message, I return to say 'Nevermind'

Because I tried again and it loaded the Home Island

I can give you an answer I think. Basically factories will produce faster and resources will spawn in faster based on the population of the world. Meaning the more players the faster factory’s spit out stuff and the faster stuff respawn to be farmed

I'm trying to help a friend find a solution if anyone can help, starting after the most recent update before this current war it seems like everytime my friend deploys anywhere and encounters the enemy Foxhole will CTD and cause his computer to restart. Google says as such

1. Create Temp folder (doesn't matter where, you can delete it when you're done.
2. Download the directx_Jun2010_redist.exe into said temp folder
3. Run directx_Jun2010_redist.exe by double-clicking
4. Box will pop up asking for a location in which to extract the install files (starting to get it?)
5. Input "C:..." path to your Temp folder and confirm (If you cant find the pathway, open the Temp folder and copy the address bar as input)
6. After extraction is complete, Temp folder will be filled with around 157/158 archive files, two .dll files, the directx_Jun2010_redist.exe you just ran and ONE other .exe (should be something like "DXSETUP.exe") if you cant see it, click on the fille type column header to re-sort untill the .exe and .dll files are at the top (NO MORE THAN TWO CLICKS!!!)
   7)Run DXSETUP.exe
   8)Follow step by step wizard to complete setup (won't ask for anything technical and if you fsck this part up you need to step away from the computer)
7. Delete Temp Folder if desired (like I said, no baring on the product after installation is complete)
8. Congrats, now go play that game you've been itching for ;)
