They bought Dyno sbout 6-7 years ago. But to put it this way, there wasn't enough funding to have any full-time developers before then. Dyno would have never scaled up as big as it did without it

The same can be said for 90% of the other large Discord bots. All of them, including MEE6, are owned by or receive funding from other companies
