Dyno acknowledges you based on certain criteria, they are organized as follows:
Server Owner
Server Admin - Administrator Permission
Server Manager - Roles added as Manager Role
Server Moderator - ?addmod

The Server Owner, Admins and Managers are considered Dyno Managers, they can use all commands and access the web dashboard.

Beyond Council and Developers, our staff team is comprised of Support Team members who are the Dyno experts, Moderators to keep the server friendly, and Community Staff who focus on making the server engaging and inviting. See #welcome for some more details.

We do not have open applications or have a way to recommend someone for joining the team. All staff roles are manually given to those we deem to be a good fit based on merit after being proven an active and supportive member in our community. All you can do is be a friendly face, supportive of other members, and active within the server. We are always on the lookout for new faces who are a good fit for the team!

How 2 Autoroles
1. Head to https://dyno.gg/ login, and select your server.
2. Click on the Modules tab.
3. Ensure that the Autoroles module is enabled.
4. Click the Settings button underneath the Autoroles module.
5. In the Select Role box, select the role you want Dyno to give users upon join.
6. You can also add a Delay for Dyno to either add or remove the role, leave this option blank however if you wish Dyno to add the role immediately on user join.
7. Select if you want Dyno to add or remove the role from the user.
8. Click the Add button and you're all done!

How 2 Automod
1. Login to https://dyno.gg/ and select your server.
2. Click on the Modules tab.
3. Ensure the Automod module is enabled.
4. Click the Settings button underneath the Automod module or navigate to it via the sidebar.
5. Under Manage Default Settings select a Default Log Channel.
6. Allowed Channels are channels that Automod will ignore, Allowed Roles are roles that if a user has they will not trigger Automod.
7. Select Create Rule and give a Rule Name.
8. Select which filter you'd like to create a rule for. Selecting an option will give a description of what that filter does.
9. Edit the Custom Settings for the rule to your liking, then set the Action you want Dyno to take when that rule is triggered.
Actions:
• Warn - Gives the user a verbal warning in chat when they trigger the rule.
• Delete - Deletes the message that triggered the rule.
• Auto Mute/Ban - Will mute/ban the user for triggering the rule after # of violations set.
• Instant Mute/Ban - Will mute/ban the user immediately after triggering the rule.
Permissions:
~ Required Roles The user must have these roles to be affected by the rule.
~ Required Channels The message must be sent in these channels to be affected by the rule.
~ Ignored Roles The rule will ignore any user who has these roles.
~ Ignored Channels The rule will ignore messages sent in these channels.
Options:
~ Log Channel The log channel Dyno will use for the rule.
~ Custom Response(Premium Feature) The custom reply Dyno will make when the rule is triggered.
Additional Info:
~ Banned Words (wildcard) Dyno will look within other words. For example with the word hi in wildcard hire would be automoded.
~ Banned Words (exact) Dyno will look for the exact word only.
~ Automod ignores the Owner, Admins, as well as Manager and Moderator Roles.

How 2 Appeals
1. Head to https://dyno.gg/, login, and select your server.
2. Click on the Modules tab.
3. Ensure that the Moderation module is enabled.
4. Click the Settings button underneath the Moderation module.
5. Click the Appeals tab located at the top of the page.
6. Select which form you want to be the Appeals form, or create one.
~~ If you choose the Appeals option under Use Template when creating your form, you will be given a template with sample questions you can use.
~~ There are many options you can choose when creating your form. To learn more about these, visit https://docs.dyno.gg/modules/forms.
7. Once the form is created/selected, choose whether appeals should be allowed for bans, mutes, or both.
8. (Optional) Select a waiting period for how long a user must wait before they can submit an appeal for the first time.
9. (Optional) For ban appeals, provide an invite URL that unbanned users can use to rejoin your server.
10. You're all set! If you have DM User on Kick/Ban/Mute in your Moderation settings enabled, Dyno will automatically DM the Appeal link to the user.

How 2 Slowmode
1. Head to https://dyno.gg/, login, and select your server.
2. Click on the Modules tab.
3. Ensure the Slowmode module is enabled.
4. Click the Settings button underneath the Slowmode module.
5. For the Channel option, select the channel you want to apply slowmode to.
6. For the Select rate limit (seconds) option, type the slowmode rate.
7. Select Channel Slowmode or User Slowmode, and then select Add.

Notes:
~ User Slowmode affects only a single user individually, similar to Discord's slowmode feature.

How to moderate/respond to pings

Note: Dyno only has the power of a Discord Bot Account and cannot prevent messages from being sent. With either of the options below, the user will still receive the ping.

First, obtain the ID of the user(s) whose ping you want to moderate/respond to. You will need this for both of the following options.

Deleting/Moderating the Ping

1. Head to the dashboard, Login or Manage Server, and select your server.
2. Head to the Automod module.
3. Select Create Rule and give a Rule Name.
4. Select the Bad Words rule type.
5. Under Banned Words (wildcard), add the ID(s) you obtained from the first step followed by a >. For example, 334093318818627586>.
6. Under Actions, select the actions you want Dyno to take when the user is mentioned.
7. If you only want this rule to affect some roles/channels, set them under the Permissions tab.
8. Click Create Rule!
Notes:

• All Automod rules will not affect Dyno Moderators and Managers.
• With Premium, you can select the Warn punishment and set a Custom Response under the Additional Options, by doing that you don't need to follow the rest of the steps!

Sending a Message

1. Head to the dashboard, Login or Manage Server, and select your server.
2. Head to the Autoresponder module.
3. Select Add Response.
4. In the Trigger field, add the ID you obtained from the first step followed by a >. For example, 334093318818627586>.
5. Select your response type and enter your response in the field below.
6. If you only want this autoresponder to affect some roles/channels, set them using the Allowed/Ignored Roles/Channels options.
7. Select the Wildcard option. This will make Dyno respond to the ping when it is located anywhere in a message.

Beyond Council and Developers, our staff team is comprised of Support Team members who are the Dyno experts, Moderators to keep the server friendly, and Community Staff who focus on making the server engaging and inviting. See #welcome for some more details.

We do not have open applications or have a way to recommend someone for joining the team. All staff roles are manually given to those we deem to be a good fit based on merit after being proven an active and supportive member in our community. All you can do is be a friendly face, supportive of other members, and active within the server. We are always on the lookout for new faces who are a good fit for the team!

How 2 Add Custom Emotes
1. Type the emote you want to add.
2. Add a backslash \ before the emote and send the message.
3. Copy the text representing the emote and paste it in the module.
Note: Dyno needs to be in the server where the emote you want to add is from.

This is also the same for normal emotes except instead of it giving the name and ID it gives a Unicode symbol instead.

If emotes are not showing up correctly in form posts, slash commands, or button responses, then you need to enable Use External Emotes for @everyone either for the server or for that channel.

This is because these functions use webhooks, and Discord checks that perm on @everyone instead of on the bot itself.

How 2 Lockdown
1. Head to https://dyno.gg/, login, and select your server.
2. Click on the Modules tab.
3. Ensure that the Moderation module is enabled.
4. Click the Settings button underneath the Moderation module.
5. Set your channels that you would like to lock under the Lockdown Channels section.
6. In your server, make sure that the permissions in each channel are as follows:
For Dyno Manage Permissions
For All Member Roles Send Messages
For @everyone Send Messages
7. Dyno will only Deny Send Messages permissions in each channel, so make sure the above permissions are correct for lockdown to work properly.
8. Once you set your lockdown channels and permissions correctly you can now use the ?lockdown command. Use ?help lockdown for more information!

Discord's API does not allow bulk deletion of messages after 14 days.
Therefore Dyno cannot purge past this point. If you get an error, check if Dyno has both the Manage Messages and Read Message History permissions, or try purging a smaller number. If you would like to remove all messages in a channel the easiest way is to clone and delete the channel, all current permissions/settings will be transferred to the new channel.
