Hello Everyone!

Since it is Coding Week, we are doing a Custom Command Contest! Everyone is welcome to join, alone or in teams of 2 (one submission per team). You will have until <t:1663718400:F> to submit your command. We do have some little requirements that your submission has to meet though.
It must include:
> 1 command from the Fun or Miscellaneous modules
> 1 advanced variable (as shown in the Variable Reference section when creating a custom command, has to be in the command field)
> creativity or uniqueness ("wow" us with your command!)
> and of course the command has to work :)

The commands have to be submitted through the form at the bottom of this post. We will review them all after the contest is over and announce the winners over the following few days. There are also some prizes for the winners!

It is getting close to Halloween, do you know what that means?
The comeback of Muteroulette!
This does mean you can once again get the Spooky role when the odds are in your favor or something else when the odds are against you. ~~Try muteroulette out in #commands whenever you're ready!~~ (The event has ended)

How do I know that I can use the ,muteroulette command?
When you use the command while it is not activated it will show you the time until the next activation (if you're on cooldown there won't be a response at all). You can also keep an eye out for a little announcement from @jolly creek in #general to see when the command ,muteroulette can be used again.

Till when can we play?
The event and command will be available from <t:1665964860:f> through <t:1667260740:f>, if it is activated of course.

⚠️ Since the name of it probably already says it, there is a chance for you to get muted for a short time. Please keep this in mind when asking for or providing support.

Dyno Hunt

Hey <@&740330599331528706> ! awaveboy
We’ve got a super special event for you starting today! Our first ever Dyno Hunt will require you to put your very best detective skills to work as you explore all things Dyno to find clues and coded messages for a chance to win some prizes!

Here’s how it will work: You will be given a clue that will lead you to a specific location in the Dyno server OR another site tied to Dyno. You will find a keyword hidden somewhere in the location. All keywords will only contain lowercase letters A-Z. A couple of examples could be dynopremium or bucketman. Once you’ve found the keyword, head to the #commands channel and run the custom command with the keyword as the name. For example, if the keyword was dynopremium, then you’d run the ?dynopremium command in #commands. When you run the command, Dyno will DM you a message. You MUST have your DM’s open for this server for the duration of the event in order to be able to receive clues. The message will contain the next clue along with an encoded message. Once you have found all the keywords, you must decode the messages and unscramble them, DM @iron rock the correct result (select the Other option). You have 1 week from now to complete the hunt!

Keywords must be found in the correct order, or else the command will not work.
No extra hints will be given to any individual aside from what is found in each clue.
Only users who have found all keys can qualify to win a prize.
Any attempt at cheating or assisting other users in cheating will result in immediate disqualification from the contest and any potential prizes.

Your first clue is:

A certain council member has an obsession with a certain fruit. If they wanted to share a picture of them eating said fruit, this is where they’d go!

Feelin' risky? Mute Roulette has returned and it is better than ever! At random intervals throughout the coming weeks, you will be able to test your luck with the %muteroulette command - will you receive a trick, or a treat?

Here are the possible results:

Most of the time you'll get a random phrase/quote, but don't let that discourage you!
If you are unlucky, you'll get muted (Make sure to keep your DMs open so you know how long you're muted for!)
If you are lucky, you'll get a fancy <@&1161304376145620993> role for the rest of October!
If you are extremely unlucky, you might just disable the command entirely or remove the Spooky role from everybody that has the role. So it's best to check in every now and then to make sure you still have the role 😉

So, without further ado… the command is now enabled! Go test your luck in #commands - keep an eye out for messages in #general⁠ for when the command will be enabled! 😄

Dyno Hunt Is Back!

Hey <@&740330599331528706>! awaveboy
Welcome to our 2nd Annual Dyno Hunt! Dave has some tricks up his sleeve this year, so get ready to use those detective skills for a chance to win some prizes!

Here’s how it will work: You will be given a clue that will lead you to a specific location in the Dyno server OR another site tied to Dyno. You will find a keyword hidden somewhere in the location. All keywords will only contain lowercase letters A-Z (e.g. dynopremium or sotiisanerd). Once you’ve found the keyword, head to the #commands channel and run the custom command with the keyword as the name. For example, if the keyword was dynopremium, then you’d run the ?dynopremium command in #commands. When you run the command, Dyno will DM you a message. Muteroulette has once again returned from it's grave!
At random intervals throughout the coming weeks, you will be able to test your luck with the %muteroulette command - will you receive a trick, or a treat?

Here are the possible results:

Most of the time you'll get a random phrase/quote/joke, but don't let that discourage you!
If you are unlucky, you'll get a mute for 10 minutes (ps: if you open your dm's it will tell you when you get unmuted in a handy timestamp)
If you are lucky, you'll get a fancy <@&1294003330095255726> role for the rest of the event (if nobody rolls a remove all ofc)
If you are extremely unlucky, you might just disable the command entirely or remove the Spooky role from everybody that has the role. So it's best to check in every now and then to make sure you still have the role 😉

So, without further ado… the command is now enabled! Go see what fate has to offer in #commands - keep an eye out for messages in #general ⁠ for when the command will be enabled! 😄

Dyno Hunt Is Back (again!)!

Hey <@&740330599331528706>!
Welcome to our 3rd Annual Dyno Hunt! This year @outer tangle has taken over the majority of the Dyno hunt from Dave, so get ready to use those detective skills again for a chance to win some prizes!

Here’s how it works:

You will be given a clue that will lead you to a specific location in the Dyno server OR another site tied to Dyno. You will find a keyword hidden somewhere in the location. All keywords will only contain lowercase letters A-Z (e.g. dynopremium or sotiisanerd). Once you’ve found the keyword, head to @outer tangle's DM's and fill in the key you found. For example, if the keyword was dynopremium, then you’d just type "dynopremium", no other shenanigans required! The bot will tell you if it is correct and give you the next clue or tell you that it is wrong. You MUST have your DM’s open for this server for the duration of the event in order to be able to receive clues. Once you have found all the keywords, you will get the final assignment from the bot.

You have 1 week from now to complete the hunt!

for anyone interested in the general stats you have a lil overview here:

General statistics

2392 times has the mute command been used.
230 mutes have been given (that's 38 hours and 20 minutes of mute time!).
125 times has the <@&1428820390662373487> role be given out to users.
34 times has the command been disabled
28 times have been all the spooky roles removed from all users currently having the roles.
at least more than once it decided it had enough and stopped responding (sorry about that, at least it did do it's job better after a couple of days )

We've created this channel to bring everyone in the server together, give back the community, and show how much we appreciate all of you for taking part in the server ❤️! Starting with our first event, a Halloween themed custom command (thanks to @frail elbow for the idea):

Feelin' risky? If so, go ahead and try out our brand new custom command, ?muteroulette in #commands! Here are the possible results:
