in the previous version even if you closed the watch you were still in that tab, but now when you close the watch sure it has you saved but trying to know where it was its hard. like i checked out mrkbx's UGC he made by searching his username through people tab. when i closed it i was wondering which one i should go and press to go back to the same tab. fortunately i got it but that's still the issue for me atleast

okay, some split test updates from me before I go take a well deserved long weekend away from work

a few hours ago, we shipped the Profile panel version with the two row outfit widget and the RR+ banner that was up top. The variant was not only my favorite, but also performed the best

tomorrow, one of my teammates will also be shipping the Quick Access panel experiment we've been running. The two test groups are neck-in-neck, but I think we're going to end up shipping the one that shows you the Consumables widget when people are in a room with you

also tomorrow (or maybe early next week if things get busy), we'll be launching 3 more split tests targeting 3 different areas.

Quick Access: some small tweaks to make it so we show you different store items in different rooms
Profile: also small tweaks to show different store items in different contexts. No layout rearranging or anything, the Outfit widget stays 😁
Overall UX: okay, this one is going to be interesting. There will be three groups, two of them will reset you back to WW after a certain amount of time without opening your UI. One of those two will also make a pretty dramatic change to your Portal panel where it will always be there if WW is open.

I'm really, really curious to hear what you all think of the groups you end up in when they launch, so please keep letting us know how it's going!

Can confirm that mobile and PC have different layouts for that split test. Mobile is attached to the right side of the screen for easier thumb access and screens is 'attached' to the right side of the quick access/portal panel

other fun change for mobile- WW now avoids conflicting with any notches/cutouts on your screen

we are committed to make sure that it feels good on each platform, even when that means changing things up a bit to better fit how you interact with the UI on different platforms 🙂

Image shared from #1114546406674419864 message . This is just a piece of personal feedback and I am not sure if people will agree with me or not on this. I also hardly play on screen mode so I might just be complaining about something that isn’t even a problem.
The Choose Your Adventure page seems a bit redundant when the play menu is already available. The images that represent each genre also just seem odd compared to the others. I think that the “For You,” “Featured,” and “Recent” fit the aesthetic nicely and that the others should fit the theme. It’s also worth noting that “Fun with Friends” gets cut off.
The Trending page also feels redundant when there is already a store button (in addition to the one provided by the trending page). Personally, if I am looking to get something then I go out of my way to find it- not because it was advertised to me. Although I do see how it can be appealing to new players and frequent buyers, I don’t see how this page would be useful to long-time players who don’t typically purchase much from the store but that is more of a self centered complaint of mine. I understand why this is apart of the WW because of the recent blogposts so frankly I wouldn’t mind this staying if it helps RR in the long run.
Overall, Choose Your Adventure and Trending seem like they don’t have to be there and I much prefer Explore/Items/Social. I cannot emphasize this enough tho that I adore the WW so far.

That's fair feedback. I will say that the version you currently have is only one group of a split test, so 2/3rd of players with WW do not have the portal panel permanently available like you do. If that variant does best, we'd then rethink what goes on the Quick Access panel

1. When you're in Full body and go to a profile, he could at least see the entire avatar, with his legs and shoes.

2. Revive the Moving Profile Avatar: In the past, when you went to a profile you could see their movements, now it's all broken. What I was thinking is that if the player is in the session it changes the Idle screen mode animation to the animation he does in the room, like walking or jumping... Like old times. As soon as the player leaves the room, the Idle screen mode animation is restarted.

A flat tablet makes sense when playing on a flat tablet but if WW was real for vr I’d want interaction that involves more than point click

I’m not entirely happy with the current watch and a completely different UI for VR than screen would be annoying in some ways but in others it could be better
