Sometimes replicator spawn objects without lag no matter but also sometimes they lag on the 10th spawn. Also if the object is spawned rotated they would look weirder
I think recroom will reduce it from 999 items to 500 or 250, pretty sure
I made mine check if theyre have dribbled or some what close to it (NOT spam grabbing) then i made it check if it has the tag Red then it searches for closest playes on blue team then it checks if that distance is less than 4 if it is then it runs an If holding player is sprinting if yes then check if guarding player is moving then it sends an event to seat the player

And after that once the event receiver picks the event up it seats the player seat set lock players in play animation (set transform animation controller to rotation of the player thats holding and position of the player guarding) So u get the right rotation and positions Then once it unseats it the seat set lock players out on true
and before i activate it i made it check if animation get is pplaying so it doesnt brak as easily
i also made it seat set lock players out false when it mades the person ankles get broken
so there will be no glitches?

So if I have 120FPS, then it updates 120 times per second.
Thats why recroom pretty Sure will reduce the amounts of items thats you can spawn with replicator from 999 to 500 or less
Not really supposed to be a cap/limit though, that's the point of it, supposed to be a way to "instantiate" objects and all.
To much items per seconds = to much lags = more crash rate
On top of that, rooms that purposely attempt to crash players with it would be reported and taken down.
Combined with how it only works with items inside the room already, you can not have much of a Hacker problem with it for now since (unless they have Maker Pen permissions) they cannot configure it to replicate current room objects.
Then that is the owner's fault for not optimizing, and they will lose out because they cannot be bothered to fix their own issues. That is also how actual games work btw, they optimise how many things are loaded so their playerbase does not lag as much, if not then their problem and fault for not considering otherwise. That is just game dev 101.
Personally I would much rather have little to no restrictions on stuff and have to worry about optimising my own work, than have to find workarounds for a restriction that otherwise would not have caused much of a problem.

Whatās the total capture time?
I made one before new list limits that can now record up to 6 hours at 30hzš
But normally you would record at 15hz, the replayer interpolates between frames at 60Hz. So thatās 12 hours of recording 1 object. Way overkill rn
I got mine to record a players character at 10hz for 2.5 hrs with 1 list. 10hz cuz it does the same interpolation as yours.
But if for some reason I'd ever need to record 19 objects at 30hz i could do it for 2.5 mins š

Indeed, it was running out of net however it was still working. I did some optimization to it when the projectile hit object it despawn the projectile launcher, If the count of spawned projectiles is greater or equal 12 then do not spawn the projectile launcher until it become less than 12

this might not seem impressive but this has taken me ages to figure out lol finally got a line renderer on a 12x12 screen (extendable size) this means im soo close to displaying 3d models, gotta just impliment diffrent directions and stopping at certain points wich is easy to make, this is fully contained graphics without any outside input

The only way this makes sense to me is if you are using third person detection to move the camera around the object in question, and simply rendering the camera result onto a UI on screen

Yes it is a render texture on screen space UI, and for the camera I just set its position to the object, and its rotation to your camera rotation. The third person is done by subtracting the position of your head to the camera and offsetting the position by that.
oo, how does it work
raycasts and I just use the random float chip to randomise the Y axis and X axis then I change the start position of the raycast to the random values then teleport the grabbing points to the hit position

oh, its essentially what you just described
you build a base of sorts around your bed while getting stuff to upgrade your armors and stuff while also building over to others based to break inside and break their bed so they can't respawn, so basically a PvP where you protect a goal of sorts while trying to get others goals, like capture the flag but without the taking the flag to your base.

roomsV2 still has memory issues with multiple players in the room, it has a funny limit to how much you can place currently, although thatās likely a room corruption considering willchils response to me showing them the error logs about it, and also the simple fact that no matter how much better RoomsV2 is to the original, it wonāt remove the UI lag š
The first 5m in a room is to die for with how smooth everything is, after that 5m mark? Rr takes its frames tax of roughly 30% and gradually increases that until you die

Still no. I remember having issues with the base trigger volume that has the rro if local player is authority where an object entered and it only worked for me when I made an object enter the volume but for others didnt work

Use the positions of the generated spot + the position of your starting point and get the noise from that you can scale it by a number to get some random stuff

How do you do it with replicator? What I was thinking is spawning in the objects for example 10 x 10 which is 100 objects, so I spawn in the 100 objects with the replicator and then start map generating? Or something else? (Donāt judge I havenāt used replicator ever yet)
Naw I just spawn them in at the position, so they get spawned in then go to the spot.
I think bc memory you can't go above a certain number then it crashes the most I can get is 50x50
So if I want to spawn in the 100 objects I used for
What I do is when I spawn an object I spawn it at the position of the map I want it in, It would probs be better to spawn them all first then move them but I haven't tested that way yet.

what if raycast update on physics tick. Or unless the increment unity moves the ray at is bad. Bc raycasts are pretty finicky. You need object varaiables in gravity guns just to keep the object infront. If using set positions at update event, i would expect the ray to always hit the object

I don't think so. It started out as me trying to find out how Vector scale works, then I got curious and made stuff grabbable. After I abandoned the project. After a while my now ex-boyfriend renewed my interest on it. Bob was one of my original creations though, and is still being improved.

Bob was first made to experiment with Vector a Scale. Eventually it accidentally turned into other stuff, and now I still intentionally work on Bob.
