I hope you're not planning to connect your Oculus Quest to this PC. It's nowhere near being capable of running VR.

CPU is very old(it's 11 years old) (there's a really good chance that CPU may not support all features of VRchat or most VR games). The GTX 1050 is absolutely going to have VRAM shortage issues(Steam VR alone takes around 1.8 GB of VRAM for me this likely varies depending on the VR headset) . GTX 1050 Ti (and AMD equivalent) is the bare minimum to have an acceptable experience).

While it is correct that the GTX 960 is better than the GTX 1050, both GPUs are below the minimum for being capable of running VR. You could always replace it(provided that the power supply is capable of supplying the required amount of power to the new GPU or you'll have to replace the power supply as well).

if i use even a normal height avatar it's too far and things clip too much and makes it hard to read anything, and if you're in a smaller avatar like a rusk, you can almost never even see your hands

The near clip plane is handled by the world, so the world could have it set really high for some reason.

Avatar pedastals, Avatar thumbnails, and world thumbnails) is completely blank, save for a "no image found" thing. Also, he can't even load into the VRC home map. Lots of things like that depend on the world creator. Things like pens, objects, etc can be invisible to people on other platforms if the world isn't made properly. People have gotten pretty good with the pens as of late but it used to be a HUGE problem

Quest 3 probably would run 120hz like the quest 2 but a slight buff in performance with 2gb more of ram and a slightly better snapdragon Apu like it did before but probably with a 2-3hr battery life which is what I predict would happen along side with sensors on the face piece to help with eye tracking that are rumors to be introduced

both, google was at fault for managing their servers incorrectly, but streaming such information (for stadia it's only audio, video and controller input) you do need a good and stable internet connection.
and with vr it would be even worse, when streaming vr from one high bandwidth network to another (both 200Mbps up and down) (using virtual desktop) my framerate and latency already become unstable. and since the quest works on wifi it also depends if you have a good router as well (or you play close to the router for a good connection)

and i'm not saying it will fail due to the same flaws as stadia, it's just very high risk to use something like cloud gaming, because of the chance it will fail (since you're relying on a cloud service your headset will become basically useless when said service stops)

but again, still is all speaking from my own experiences, if they find a way to process the data efficiently it might make it a comfortable gaming experience

My quest basically was fine and I turned it on yesterday and all the apps were gone and I can’t load any of my profile info and it shows that I’m not in the profile
I searched my apps in the store and downloads and nothing
I’ve tried restarting, updating ect and it’s still like this

The only thing that fixed it for me was factory resetting

So first turn off the quest 2

and then turn it back on holding the power button and the volume down button until a boot menu loader appears

From there you can use the volume buttons to go up and down in the menu and press the power button to select factory reset

Alternatively you can connect to the headset with your phone and there should be an option in the app to factory reset the headset as well

Hello! I'm new here. I'm looking for help with my new Oculus Quest 2, as I'm having troubles with the setup. I've googled and it seems like I'm not the only one. But I'll make a try to see if anyone here knows.

So I'm doing my first-time setup. I've selected language, paired it with the Oculus App. Accepted all terms and so on. Selected Wifi succesfully, but now when it's downloading updates. It's stuck at 0%. I've tried everything as in restarting, factory resetting. Please help, it says that I should wait 1 hour but I've tried to get it working for 3 hours now.

U need to have android under build settings then click on android then switch platform once that's done u can change the avatar to meet to quest requirements
