Question to anyone pls (I was chilling in a room and it popped up that I got disconnected, now it won't let me sign in to my account but is signing into another that isn't mine and it's wiped completely. ) how do I fix this?

My account is logged through both my phones just fine but when I try to log through meta quest it logs into a new account that isn't mine at all and is wiped clean of my avatars, friends, worlds, etc.

Keep in mind that yt-dlp, that VRChat relies upon is in an arms race with Youtube, they don't want yt-dlp to work.
You might also have been flagged as a bot by youtube, can only really then wait for them to unflag you.

Advertised range is 8 hours, but I have managed almost 10 hours before (a while ago though, who knows how updates have affected battery life), but requires the controllers to not constantly be moving and for vibration intensity to be lowered, by default the vibrations are imo stronger than they need to be anyway.

But just fyi, there is no way to charge the controllers while using them, which leaves you with three options, get off VR, let them charge while only using hand tracking or swap to the normal controllers while they charge, easier done nowadays with the in headset pairing and with Virtual Desktop there shouldn't be any distruption to gameplay even though you do need to close it when pairing, because compared to at least Airlink/Link Virtual Desktop doesn't close SteamVR when you disconnect your headset from it.

anyone else been having horrid framerate drops and ping spikes along with heavy lagging in worlds with only 3 other people? I'm honestly getting so peeved about it. its been increasingly worse since around the day the west region servers fudged and its not just me dealing with it (4 of us repeatedly crashing and having the spikes at the same time)

Using the same blueprint id would be ideal. Then if the model is used/seen on the PC version they can see the whole thing even if you're on quest. But if you just play on quest it's not a huge deal

Hello, I’m not sure where to submit this if I need help but I’m just gonna ask on here. I am playing on the meta quest three and playing standalone and have has the headset for less than two years. When in worlds I am having material clipping issues. Most materials that are close together like mirrors, avatar clothing, like tight clothing, posters, walls, etc, are constantly flashing and clipping and glitching on my screen. It’s been happening for about a month. I’ve tried to clear cache, delete the game, and checked for settings but I can’t seem to fix it and I’m just unsure what to do as I’m on standalone.

I feel because it's an Android-side issue, I have no idea where to talk about it
But I STILL get "Security Checks Failed" whenever I upload anything on android platform, and I was told to just reupload it and it should fix it, true, but on my end, the whole SDK after the first upload glitches out and becomes unusuable, the only way to make it usable is by closing the project entirely and reopening it,

The process that normally takes around 10 minutes is now taking 30+ minutes just to upload the Android version of the avatar, it is becoming annoying now~

Because it was never a feature, only reason it existed is because people broke the ToS and used modded SDKs.

Audio sources are also quite cpu expensive and it was verry easy to crash quest using it.

I’m not sure if you know but, you can play on desktop. That’s a way to keep your PC avatar without changing anything, the only downside is that you have limitations with movement. @stoic ibex

You should probably figure out why that is instead, your wifi probably isn't the best or you don't have your computer wired to the router directly.

Virtual Desktop, ALVR and Airlink/Quest Link are the only options though, in addition to Steam Link.

in order to get past the set up

I was running into this issue. I did a complete fresh install of virtual desktop and vrchat after I cleared all of the local cache and data. Reinstalled them and the stutter issue seems to have fixed itself. Though there are moments where even though I have to where I cant see other avatars I still have lag spikes in vrchat.

Question regarding the meta 3S vs. 3 if anyone has any thoughts/opinions/experience:
I'm trying to decide between the Meta Quest 3 and the 3S at the moment. I honestly plan to only use it for VR Chat, so most of what the 3 offers, such as increased storage, doesn't really matter to me. However, looking into it, the difference between the lens qualities, adjustability, and FOV is something that I'm on the fence about. I'd really prefer the quality of the 3 but lower price point of the 3S, and I plan to almost solely use VRPC.
Another random thing I'm slightly concerned about is I heard that the 3S doesn't have a headphone jack for some reason. Has anyone had any issues with that?
I've never owned a VR before, so any information is good information. Thank you!

The 3 has better lenses overall. 3s can be blurry at times but has slightly better battery life I have a 3s personally and it's decent for the price. The 3 is a $200 jump in price for a better resolution pretty much.

That's almost it, but check task manager too.
Shortcut for it is ctrl+shift+esc, go to the performance tab and take a photo of the last one, GPU.
All I can see from your photo is the integrated GPU, if that is all you have then this won't be running VR outside of testing it for the fun of it.

You have to expand it too, so it looks like this

You are not going to run VR smoothly, you can only make it marginally better.

First step is to connect computer using ethernet, is required, and use SteamLink or Virtual Desktop. 10-20% buff to performance.
Then you will have to lower the render resolution a lot.

you can record using the quest and then it can also be downloaded from your phone in the meta horizons app

theres a camera app that can take photos and record, and there's a shortcut like:

It helps boost my signal when connecting to virtual desktop and now I can play on Max graphics on virtual desktop and vrchat while break dancing in full body. It is important to know I have a wired connection and yes it makes all the difference

is Vrchat borderline unusable for any other Quest 2 players or is it somehow just me

every placed portal breaks immediately (says world/owner/access/agegate), no images ever load anymore, I get the "low memory" popup quite literally every two minutes regardless of what world I'm in, and I crash for no reason also very frequently

That is called an imposter, basically it is just a few images of the avatar stitched together, it is a performance thing and generally used if the avatar itself is too unoptimized or it lacks a quest version entirely.

But you can still force show the avatar if you want, assuming the avatar has a quest version.
You might also want to go into settings and set the minimum shown rank to poor, that will automatically show a few more avatars.
There is no way to automatically show very poor avatars

The world download, then initialize then it transfer me back to another world and so on

I tried to clear the cache, uninstall and reinstall the game and disconnect and reconnect from my wifi
