I feel like sometimes it just be doing it but I clear my content cache in my settings that usually fixes it for me

that happens as a safety measure to ensure you dont crash to your homeworld because you ran out of RAM. there is no "fix" for it other than waiting for your headset to release the ram on its own, or as mercury said, clearing your cache. this ram storage is also cleared on restart of your headset too.

dont know why, but i get a weird glich when using pcvr, i have a low end pc, but with link it works good, the moment i use the cable, and i try to move quickly its like the image bugs a little bit, like it waves, similar to how you see the air over the fire wave when you burn something

Likely due to a combination of factors. Low fps and lower end computer coupled with poor world optimization. It's bound to happen and not a lot yku can do about it.

doesnt seem like a good explanation, i have a hp reverb g2 and at180% ss i can run it no issue, quest has way less quality so it should work too, this wavy effect start at 40-50fps btw thats not close to low fps, not only that, with airlink even at 10fps i dont see it, at all, and when using a oculus game it never happends, only on cable steam pcvr

It's not a "rumor" per se, it is a documented possibility very poor avatars are already removed from the Android version of the game, however, other optimization solutions are being implemented and considered first to the point it'll be unlikely.

What is likely is that the thresholds for each performance rank will become stricter.

Did you confirm that the toggles under comfort and safety regarding the content warnings were locked? Because when you cross the threshold from 17 to 18, those toggles won't automatically disable any more than any of your other settings.

If they are locked, then it is a separate issue that the vrc admin team are already looking into.

Generally what causes that is poor connection. If you play wireless, you can try rebooting your modem/router and making sure your headset is set as a priority device on your wifi network. The process for doing so is router specific so you'll have to do research.

To factory reset your Oculus Quest 2, turn off your headset, then press and hold the power and volume down buttons simultaneously until the boot screen loads. Then use the volume buttons to highlight the “Factory reset” button and press the power button to select it.

Keep in mind, this will delete everything on your headset. You'll have to reinstall anything you had before, but you won't lose anything.

The likely reason is that your avatar, though supported on quest, has a performance rank of "Very Poor" these avatars do not show automatically due to performance restrictions. they will have to turn it on manually in order to see it.

So the issue is going to be Content Gating, 17 and younger are no longer allowed to enter words with specific Content Warning tags set by the world owner. If you are 18 or older, you can turn these on and off.

IF you are 18 or older, you can easily do so from Settings under Comfort and Safety where you can toggle each warning type on and off individually. As I said, if you are 17 or younger, you are SOL.

Whenever I use steamlink the mic on the quest 2 just stops working. The audio input device called "Headset Microphone (Oculus Virtual Audio Device)" just doesn't register anything. But when I use airlink the mic works perfectly fine.

SteamLink does not use that audio input, it uses "Steam Streaming microphone".

Possible that you have to go into Steam's settings, "Voice in game" (or something along those lines) and turn up the volume for the microphone.

There is no difference between the two. Meta Link is how you connect your headset to PC and that can be done via wireless (airlink) or cable (Link Cable). Direct connection via cable is always best but if you have your headset as a priority device on your Wifi6, there really is no difference, especially if you are in the same room as your router.

Depending on what version, quest link or standalone quest. Quest standalone just use the app and sign into your oculus account and it’ll send the photos to your gallery

When was the last time you did a factory reset? I try to do that once every other month. Another big culprit is overheating, if your quest gets too warm it can do that, especially as it's poor cou damn near gives it a heartattack. I used to crash to oculus main me u from optimized box within seconds, but having a small fan blow directly on it has stopped it from happening almost entirely

So everyone who upgrades their account effectively has two accounts. The one you are assigned based on your quest headset and the one you create for vrc. I'm thinking that there is some sort of synching issue or you merged your account improperly. When I say check your user, if your name on the website is different than your name in headset, or if your still using a quest only account even though you have a full vrc profile, that'll be the reason why. Either way, vrc support should be able to help figure out exactly what happened
