Yeah I feel the same way, and honestly I’ve come to accept that I won’t always have someone to chill with in this game, so I find other things that make this game so worthwhile and that’s exploring the creations this community has made the community labs is a great place and I’m convinced that exploring it for weeks upon weeks got me trusted user.

Regardless even if selling was allowed nobody would buy because why buy a used quest 2 with an unhealthy facial interface, when there’s a brand new quest 2 that ships with a new one plus more storage for the same price of $300

He’s better off keeping his quest 2 and using it when he wants to.

The way you wrote it originally gave off the impression that Oculus themselves would remove the listing of a second hand quest 2 because of the recall, not simply that people would be less interested in buying it due to the lack of a silicone replacement. Well the thing is Facebook was removing listings for used quest 2’s but it was on a platform they owned Facebook marketplace. And yeah I’m aware of replacement I got mine yesterday. Even so he just still keep is quest 2 I mean like why bother selling it, you’re not getting a return of investment of what you originally put in.

It’s like nobody’s gonna buy it for more than $300 and if he sells it for $150 what can you really do with that you’re getting less than what you paid for which is why IMO you shouldn’t sell it unless you’re really desperate for the money. And it seems like he bought it just for vrchat which is why I suggest you buy other games @cunning pebble like Beatsaber pcvr or not that game is hella worth it.

There is a big difference between "some people had irritation issues and we made a replacement that should help" and "everyone has problems that need this to be resolved"
A notable amount of people will probably never even clain a new cover as they have no issues. Or don't even know about it.
