However this is a completely new way to make films that doesn't require direct interaction!

Finding the one who leaks your ID and remove them or be orange all the time

First is pretty hard

do some process of elimination and noting who is in your lobby when that happens and eventually youll be left with 1 person

If you are in PC VR you can use the camera in any world by clicking the camera button in the quick menu, then photo camera. hold to position, trigger to take pic, photos saved in Pictures > VRChat folder on your computer. On quest or desktop mode you're out of luck.

It's fine to use worlds but if you're ever worried you can always contact them. Usually the creator should have contact details in their profile whether its a discord name or twitter link etc. But in most cases, people are fine. Having the world name and author mentioned in the vid or in the description is great and preferred. It's too common for a really big content creator to come on to vrc, make a vid and not have any world details anywhere in the vid or description and you'll get people asking "what world was it?" in comments with zero replies from content creator x_x

Can only think of one use of a world that offended the world creator, which was the original Japan Shrine since a screenshot of it got used in a porn visual novel if I remember right.

Am I the only one that thinks that making friends on VRchat is very difficult? With over 15 hours in the game (I started recently because I just got a headset, but have owned the game since 2018) I'm not in a single friend group and only have 3 friends. Am I just doing something wrong?

some people make close friends by going through an adventure world and meeting someone through that, some people find it easier to go to events like music ones and connecting there

others may connect better in multiplayer game worlds like murder etc

if you struggle at first, change things up a bit

So does anyone know how I can fix my download speed for vrchat? I have 300 mbps download speed, and I get great speeds on anything but vrchat. When loading into worlds or loading in avatars in vrchat, it seems to be capped at 1-2 mbps. Is it supposed to be this way?

If you are having problems with FBT calibration: Do not use modified clients. Remove all components of any modified clients from your PC. VRChat cannot and will not support the usage of modified clients.

In addition to being a violation of the VRChat Terms of Service, they appear to find it a challenge to not break various FBT-related things.

So Aussie here in Melbourne. I tested out the regions update.. I get 185 ping in US (normal), but I get 205 in Japan (!) and 305 in Europe (expected). I expect the Japan traffic is being routed through Hawaii or something.

They were primarily targeting their 2 largest player-bases next to the U.S, Japan and Europe. Stating that it was the 2 highest demand areas for adding servers. Targeting via population doesn't make a whole lot of sense, as this isn't representative of where players are actually playing the game from.

Anyway pretty sure the ping issue you're seeing with Japan is a ISP routing issue, users have reported having 90 ping to JP from Australia. Some ISP's just don't care where the data goes after it leaves the home country and I've seen routes where data from Australia going to Japan have first gone to the U.S west coast and then to Japan, causing really high pings. As a result for some users using a VPN can help solve the issue.

OK. If anyone is reporting 90 ping to JP in AU, please let me know which ISP to switch to. AU is also big, 3700KM north to south. North gets better ping to Japan for sure, but dominant life-form up there is spiders. In Melb I am ~8000KM from JP, and 16500KM from NY or London. There is a feedback loop issue with targeting existing player base, but I'll let that be... that sort of thing is a pretty universal issue in tech and only really obvious from down here. I'll just mess around with neos self hosted for my mates on skymuster. 🙂

Realistically, it the best vr headset for the average consumer and at an actual affordable price. The hardware is excellent and modern. It's very durable. It'll provide a solid VR experience. Much better than the older generation headsets other than the "enthusiasts" sets (like index) which are still relevant because they were that ahead at release.

Why is IK completely messed up the last few days? They "fixed" nothing. Knee bug from 2019/2020 is back (knees merge in fbt when you squat) and chest has weight=1 to hip tracker when standing completely ruining any and all dancing. When sitting it's full weight to the head instead, and laying just flips it horizontal no matter what. It's not rocketscience...

How about adding an if upside-down to the "fix" so it doesn't break everything else?
