Tupper i deleted the source for that map ages back so there's no chance of a possible recovery, i honestly think another engine upgrade will somehow break the map just like what happened a few years prior.. so im preparing in advance by using sdk3 this time around.. but your version of Udon is nowhere near as advanced as i need it to be currently.

Well normally we are not limited.. but thats because other platforms allow us headroom, but i have been with vrchat since the start and i dont ask much.. if it runs optimised and all's good no complaints i dont see the issue, i mean we are paying for a better enviroment in which to host our creations, and Vrchat bennefits from that.

Yes you aren't but the chairs they use dont require going through "Stations" to start with yet work perfectly well, i will never understand how a sitting pos can cause a camera to go absolutely bonkers to start with.. its the same as Elevators in vrchat.. you try using an elevator in vrchat and what happens? nothing good.

I'm no engineer but I believe a lot of the complexity comes with dealing with legacy (AV2) avatars-- in reality, I think stations are in need of a total rework. There's a lot of backwards-compatibility issues. That being said, stations currently are in a pretty good state

Okay so chairs work but as you said they are cursed.. which means something still isn't quite working correctly.. anyways.. World size.. im a vrc+ if that doesn't count for something then maybe offer another program where i can actually rent more space? i mean i really dont see the issue with this at all, especially if a world works great and everyone has a good time.. Creativity should never be limited just because of the size of a world.

100mb worlds arleady take pretty long to load. Every time I want to play a horror map with my friends (which are usually around 300mb) I have to pre-download the map like an hour before we play so they don't have to wait for me the whole time

Optimization (crunch compressing textures, lowering texture sizes where possible, not using massive audio files or otherwise compressing them properly, etc) will def help with that

In theory yes. There are countless of tutorials online, and anyone who is New User and above can upload avatars. You usually get New User after a couple of days of playing.

Just so you know.. Funland Reborn V1 was heavily relying on animations.. because originally its all scripted content.. now that we have udon yeah.. i can reduce animations drastically i guess.. i will look into Udon sharp see how it handles

Also, I would recommend avoiding these uncalled-for and rude remarks. You two are not the only ones who have done a theme park and far from the only ones working extensively in animations. There are people who have created god-like worlds with animations in just under 20-30 MB. Claiming to need 250 MB or upwards to a gigabyte is an insult to their work, and slapping down people who are trying to help you is not a way to learn.

I think.. we are just all different.. for me in general i only spend time in VR when i'm testing out my creations to make sure everything is running smoothly.. and testing rides.. is unfortunately one of those things.. so overall overtime i have become immune to the feeling of sickness, but hey.. others still get it so in a sense all's good.. lol's.. creating rides that will undoubtedly make people feel queasy is literally part of the plan to give an authentic experience..

PSVR isn't remotely comperable to the CV1 lol, though I'd def say it's better than the DK1/2 since it has positional tracking and etc (~180 degree though, granted)

The PSVR is nice for the PS4 imo, and it can work with PC with either iVRy or TrinusPSVR, but I wouldn't recommend buying a PSVR specifically for PC use

I will compare them in what i saw with my own eyes.. this was before oculus had touch.. i was a DK2 user after the DK1 i always relied on either a standard wired controller for input or a leap motion.. but i have been all development.. i dont game so yeah.. if you want to game what would you have him do pay out for a wired? if hes on a budget and already has a psvr then yeah hes good.. he just needs diffeent controllers.. thats about it really.

I can't speak for the 1060 since I don't have it lol, but my 970M runs VRChat, Beatsaber, Universe Sandbox VR and Pavlov's demo smoothly, and Half-Life: Alyx runs with a stutter (though I suspect that's because my card doesn't directly support VR, it came out before the Vive was a thing)

Do y'all have any idea what can cause stutters in video games? We have a rx 580 8gb paired with a ryzen 5 2600 and 8gb of ram but no matter what the games end up stuttering. Frames are at 60+ but drop every few minutes

The 1060 3gb will work for VRChat and similar games I listed imo - the 1060 3gb has a 65% higher score on GPUBenchmark (take that with a heavy grain of salt) than the 970M and is otherwise pretty comperable

when is the game working? 25 devs, 1 major API problem, and a whole lot of malicious users. FANTASTIC GAME 10/10 shoot me in the head. For me.. its all about line tests.. guess its different if your on fiber.. but if your stuck on a copper line like me first thing to check is Signal to noise ratio.. tells me all i need.. more noise on the line the worse off i will be.

My upload time is .. absolutely terrible though.. i cant stream a dam thing even if i have maximum compression on its still about 10 mins out.. overall its terrible up/down speed but my connection rate itself.. is 100% solid all day everyday.. unless we get a power failure.. and then the entire village is offline for a few hours.

I guess it was in response to the complaints about the quest 1 battery covers being too easy to come off, but I actually prefer those, they never came off when I didnt intend them to and I found sliding them on and off was a good fidget thing during loading screens and stuff

If you plan to use it with a VR compatible PC, yes. It will be enough for VRchat.
If you are not connecting it to a computer will will only be able to play the Quest Version of Vrchat.
