Yeah you know that wont wash, Funlands 250mb and thats tiny.. i need a full scale game in vrchat.. cant you just make an exception to the world tabs, like "Gigantic Worlds" those with good internet connections would bennefit.

There is absolutely no Runtime recorder there and its all compressed, but you are looking at every ride you can possibly create, but i want to make a much larger enviroment with everything all in one.

so, a few ideas:

  • are you sure you're doing animation compression properly? do you have a bunch of redundant keyframes? could you fix it by using animators and repeated states? do you just have monolithic animation blocks? (if you do, don't do that, please use animators with loops/states where necessary, animations should not be 250mb, that's silly)
  • if you wanted to be extra clever, you can shed off like all of that if you swapped to Udon and built some deterministic transform "animations"

animations being 250mb tells me immediately that you're doing something Not Quite Properly

250mb is the total sum of all the rides and all the shops and everything else they are not the sum of one specific ride.. also i must say that Wodans new adventure park at night.. is my competitor.. and i must do better im sorry to say.. so overall, his weighs in at 220mb and yes he has less rides.. if script were possible you know how simple this would be for a few lines of code, but seeing as we had to redo all as animations.. this is honestly the true result and yes everything was highly compressed, and everything was baked.. Funland Reborn V1 went public in 2019 and so far absolutely no complaints.. just the opposite.. people love it.

I think that because VRchats friendslist and avatar changing isn't working to it's expected results, then that tells me that you guys are doing something not quite properly
