You must obtain at least "New User" Trust Rank in our Trust and Safety system in order to upload content. You can get this by just spending a few hours in VRChat, hop some worlds, and make some friends. Give it some time and you'll be able to upload content in no time.

As an aside, you must have a VRChat account to upload content. That means you can't use a Steam account, Oculus account, or Viveport account to upload content like worlds or avatars.

It's relatively cut-and-dry imo - VRChat+ is only on Steam because of credit card handling issues among other things (how much of a cut Facebook would want might be a reason? not personally sure on that), though VRChat accounts can work on either platform

You can't get the subscription on the quest version of the game so you have to get a version of the game on another platform, buy the subscription on said platform, and then get back to the quest version and you will have your subscription

If it's a VRChat account, you don't have to - if you logged into VRChat with Oculus, you'd first have to make a VRChat account on the website, then make a merge token (found in the ingame settings on your Oculus account), then put that merge token into the corresponding Merge section in the VRChat website

After that, wait a few hours for everything to transfer over properly, then buy VRChat+ on Steam

also note, you'll keep the username of the VRChat account you make, not the Oculus one (so don't name it something temporary) o:
