Make sure you have the right mic also make sure your avatar doesn’t play music and stuff - especially audio when you join the room - people are quick to mute that stuff

Normal bug, not really a way to fix it. I recommend restarting your game and if that dosnt work normally i just wait for it to wear off

Ranks aren't strictly time-based - friends, worlds visited, avatars/worlds uploaded (if the account has permission) and active hours all help, alongside not getting banned/kicked/muted/etc

Yes I understand that.. I think honestly it's just a smart plan to stick with the old wired setup and not play to much with a quest.. the quest 2 could of been a feat of engineering if they added a battery worthy of its versatility.. a graphite battery would of lasted much much longer than what they are currently using..

Yes but the battery life of a quest 2 is ridiculous.. 2 hours play time is not vrchat.. vrchat is hours in game with people without having to stop and recharge or use a cable to it to keep on going.

This is why the quest 3 will undoubtedly more than likely use state of the art battery, that being graphite, of course the cost will probably be much higher due to the battery alone, but it would last a good 12 hours and recharge time is less than an hour, that's how the quest 2 should of been with its current technology.

There's 37505 users according to VRCBot atm, with 21.779 of those being listed by SteamCharts, leaving 15,726 people on non-SteamVR platforms (Standalone Quests, Rifts on Oculus software, Viveport users, etc)
note that the number is probably accurate within ~200 or so users, since VRCBot itself is off by a bit (and I don't know how accurate SteamCharts/Steam's API is on the number too) - still interesting to know though c:

@alpine zenith i wouldn't rlly count that as needed. As Occulus and steam have their own systems for texting and communication. It tells you who's on what game and you can reply in vr. Hell if you go on the vrc website you can do all but join a game and text, changing avatars names. Worlds. Seeing who's on ect can all be done there.

It's not strictly time-based - friends, worlds visited, avatars/worlds uploaded (if the account has permission) and active time all help your trust score, alongside not getting kicked/banned/reported/etc
It's completely different for everyone, but I'd hazard a guess and say that 10-50 hours with a decent amount of friends'd sound good to go from Visitor to New User, which is the first rank you can upload avatars with c:

Most authors setup their gestures to be used with vive or index controllers, idk which and most of the time that messes with quests because the controls are different (I think, don't quote me as I could be completely wrong)
